1 Personnel Responsible CMS Scheme for Learning Curriculum Area Geography Quality Assured by PLE Exam Board/Qualification OCR B Geography Assessment Cycle Two How are the natural world and people interconnected? Assessment Cycle Topic/Unit Title Big Question Rationale/Skill Development Link to Assessment Objectives/Progression Scales Skills 2 Geography How are the natural world and people interconnected? Students will develop an understanding of physical ecosystems; how people use ecosystems and how they can be sustainably managed. Students will learn about the causes and impacts of climate change as well as how the negative impacts of climate change can be managed. Students will also look at a range of secondary to make decisions about issues as well as developing fieldwork skills. Students will be assessed using GCSE style questions which are based on Changing Climates, Sustaining Ecosystems and DME elements of the OCR B GCSE Geography syllabus.
