3 2. Introduction of the project / Background information i. Identification of project and project proponent The main Director of the company is Mr. Kanhaiya Gupta wide experience in the industrial-chemical sector. ii. Brief description of nature of the project The proposed project is for the manufacturing of Intermediates of Agro chemicals and Synthetic Organic Chemicals. The detail manufacturing process of proposed products is shown at Annexure - C. iii. Need for the project and its importance to the country and or region All the products which are going to be manufactured are directly or indirectly be exported which in turn will generate a foreign revenue in the country. Also local consumption will lead to reduction in import and will save foreign exchange. iv. Demand - Supply gap Based on our informal survey of the market with our current customers and various traders, we have found that there is a huge potential for the range of the proposed products and hence the proponent has decided to go for the said proposed project looking to the present market scenario. v. Imports vs. Indigenous production Based on the current cost of indigenous raw materials and the non-availability of some materials, we will have to import some of the key raw materials as they are not available indigenously. This will make us very competitive against imported finished products and we will export of our finished products in the international market. vi. Export Possibility At present there is an ample demand even for International/local market. However possibility will be explored for export subject to economic feasibility for the same. vii. Domestic/Export markets Our Proposed products having good demand in domestic and International market. We shall explore the possibility of exports the products.

4 viii. Employment generation (Direct and Indirect) due to the project The project will provide opportunity for employment of 60 nos. or more. of employees through direct and indirect on permanent / contract basis. 3. Project Description i. Type of project including interlinked and interdependent project, if any. ii. iii. iv. The proposed project is for manufacturing of Intermediates of Agro chemicals and Synthetic Organic Chemicals. (Falling at item 5(b) and 5(f) of schedule of EIA Notification, 2006 & its amendment) and No interlinked, interdependent projects has been submitted. Location (map showing general location, specific location and project boundary & project site lay-out) with co-ordinates The unit is located in Industrial Estate Dahej 2, Dist. Bharuch and the location map and site lay-out is attached as Annexure - G. Co-ordinates for the proposed site is as under Details of alternate sites considered and the basis of selecting the proposed site, particularly the environmental considerations gone into should be highlighted. The project is new proposed project. As the proposed site is within the GIDC area, the site is selected for the proposed project. Size or magnitude of the operation The proposed project is for manufacturing of Intermediates of Agro chemicals and Synthetic Organic Chemicals. The details of proposed products is shown at Annexure - A. Corner Latitude Longitude 1 st 21 43'3.60"N 72 38'58.24"E 2 nd 21 43'3.97"N 72 39'2.40"E 3 rd 21 42'59.62"N 72 39'2.75"E 4 th 21 42'59.60"N 72 38'58.35"E v. Project description with process details (a schematic diagram / flow chart showing the project lay-out, components of project etc.) The schematic diagram of process is attached as Annexure - C.

5 vi. Raw material required along with estimated quantity, likely source, vii. viii. ix. marketing area of final product/s, mode of transportation of raw materials and finished products. The detail of raw material consumption is shown at Annexure - B. Resource optimization / recycling and re-use envisaged in the project, if any, should be briefly outlined. The measures to be taken for the optimizing usage of water, raw materials and power through Cleaner Production. Availability of water its source, energy / power requirement and source should be given. The required quantity of raw water is satisfied through GIDC water supply. The source of power supply is from Daxin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd... Quantity of wastes to be generated (liquid and solid) and scheme for their management / disposal. The quantity of industrial wastewater generation from process will be 24 KLD for the project. Industrial waste water will be treated into the ETP then sent to MEE system for further treatment and treated water will be recycle within plant premises. Generated ETP/MEE salt will be disposed at TSDF site. Hence unit will be maintain zero liquid discharge. The details of the same is shown at Annexure - D. Hazardous waste will be disposed off in accordance with the statutory guidelines. x. Schematic representation of the feasibility drawing which gives information of EIA purpose. This project falls under Category A of schedule 5(b) and 5(f) of the EIA Notification, 2006 & subsequent amendments, being a unit located in the notified industrial estate.
