FAST-ACT ADVANCED VAPOUR TECHNOLOGY FOR THE OIL & GAS INDUSTRY January 2016

What does FAST-ACT do? FAST-ACT is a powder, granule, filter or liquid used to adsorb and neutralize all chemical hazards, particularly H2S. Neutralizes both liquid and vapour hazards Converts the toxic material to a non-hazardous by-product for safe disposal. H2S is converted to safe Magnesium and and Zinc sulphides plus H2O

What is FAST-ACT? The metal oxides that comprise FAST-ACT are manufactured using special nanotechnology proprietary processes that result in unique properties not found in competitor products Components of FAST-ACT are Magnesium Oxide Titanium Oxide Zinc Oxide

Why it varies from other Scavenger Oxides Conventional MgO Stable, little reactivity Surface Area = 30 m 2 /g Nano Active FAST-ACT MgO Stable, highly reactive Surface Area = +300 m 2 /g

FAST-ACT Mode of Operation Liquid Containment Chemical taken up by adsorption into the large porous surfaces. Adsorption Chemical bound to surface of FAST-ACT molecule Neutralization Chemical reaction occurs to convert the toxin to non-hazardous

Product Benefits No premixing is required Rapid-acting upon contact Effective over a wide range of conditions Non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable 5 Year shelf life

Certified by Lloyds Register, NATO, Australian TGA Used by the US, Australian, Indian and Singaporean Militaries

Lloyds Certification

Lloyds Register Trials H2S at 3000ppm took 4 hours to breakthrough a FAST-ACT filter Using a traditional sulphur scavenger filter it took only 5 minutes H2S at 200ppm (IDLH) was reduced to 10ppm (STEL) in 30 seconds

Hydrocarbon and Solvent adsorption rates. (Surface and Airborne) FAST-ACT will NOT work on: - Biological agents - Heavy metals - Radioactive material

Key Advantages - Minimum twice the efficacy of competitive scavengers - Removes Kg H2S per Kg of granule - In gas to power sweetening can produce at $0.03/Kwh - Provides vapour hazmat response in seconds - Can be used for skin decontamination - No mixing, non-toxic, 5 year shelf life - Smaller footprint for engineered vapour solutions - Lower CAPEX - Lower OPEX with safer and less change-outs

Oil & Gas Objectives

Oil & Gas Benefits

KEY APPLICATIONS 1) Portable sweetening for Gas to Power 2) Wellhead H2S removal Fixed Bed 3) More efficient vapour return line solutions 4) Chemical tank venting 5) Offshore Rig H2S management 6) Immediate Hazmat vapour response 7) Chemical Vapour Filtration 7) Personal Decontamination 8) Laboratory Spills

1) Portable sweetening for Gas to Power Gas Sweetening Skid Each system is designed and scaled bespoke to each field condition. This skid mounted unit was designed for low pressure, high flow gas stream with 300ppm H2S

Systems are scaled to Field Conditions and Power Required

2) Wellhead H2S Removal With more than double the efficacy of current treatments, a fixed bed lead/lag solution is engineered. It is designed to calculate the optimum mass transfer zone for the catalyst. Our systems can be designed with smaller footprint and CAPEX (for rigs) or for lower OPEX (change outs) for land. Spent material can be disposed to landfill safely and simply

Wellhead H2S Removal (Onshore/Offshore) Gas to Power for Well Sites and ESP Using Advanced Gas Sweetening Electric Submersible Pump Sour Gas Substation Sweet Gas Gas Generator Duplex Lead/Lag Sweetener System Sweet Gas to TEG Crude for Process

Tank Terminal Applications

3) Vapour return line efficiency. Portable Tank loading bays Drum Filling Stations To allow greater flexibility and avoid the handling and removal of contaminated water from traditional fixed water scrubbers, our modular skid systems and advanced technology can offer faster and cost efficient vapour return line removal.

4) Chemical Tank Venting Using our skid removal systems. Allows more tank storage options

5) Offshore Platform H2S Management H2S FAST-ACT PROTECTION PROGRAM Continuous monitoring of drilling returns (mud and cuttings) for H 2 S release. FAST-ACT Cylinders Addition of H 2 S scavenger (FAST-ACT) in drilling and completion fluid formulations; Negative pressure ventilation and air locks in mudprocessing rooms FAST-ACT Filters Local exhaust ventilation over the shale shakers; FAST-ACT Filters Removal of H2S from Mud, Sand and Oil pits prior to Derrickman entry FAST-ACT Cylinders

Rig Gas to Power H2S Removal and Wellhead H2S Treatment Due to our high efficacy, FAST-ACT removal systems with small footprint can provide clean gas for power and H2S removal of well gas, minimising flaring

6) Immediate Hazmat Vapour Response FAST-ACT is the ONLY technology that can discharged directly into a toxic chemical vapour for adsorption and removal/neutralisation of hazardous vapours.

Confined Space HAZMAT response to toxic chemical vapour releases in confined spaces, cargo tanks and containers

FAST-ACT- The only product available to directly discharge into, and neutralise vapour FAST-ACT is directly injected into a tank or confined area to adsorb any vapours and coat the surface to prevent offgassing FAST-ACT will settle and can be rinsed off and cleaned with water Meets IMO / GESAMP requirements for the marine environment

7) FAST-ACT FILTRATION Protection of internal areas such as: Accommodation Offices Control Rooms Tank vents Manhole filters Soft filter or honeycomb membrane. Long life and easily retro fitted into existing HVAC s and ducting.

Using Destructive Adsorption Filtration Technology Filters can be pads or cartridge embedded with FAST-ACT granules Chemical vapours or hydrocarbons are trapped on the surface of the FAST-ACT molecule and neutralised. Normal filters are only carbon and Hepa.

8)Personal Decontamination: Australian Therapeutic Goods Certified Developed for the US Military. Each soldier carries 3 mitts for personal decon against Chemical Warfare agents 30

9) Laboratory Spill Response The complete Spill Response for chemicals in Laboratories. 5 Year shelf life, non-toxic, by-product is neutralised for normal disposal.
