2 FEATURES & BENEFITS High H2S removal capacity Exceptional product hardness Rigorously dedusted TECHNICAL DATA LIKU- TECH Grasp-Sulfone Activated carbon for removal of acid gases Liku-Tech Grasp-Sulfone is a high performance activated carbon exhibiting an enhanced capacity for the removal of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S). The product is manufactured using a unique process, which establishes the high H2S capacity without the use of a chemical reagent being applied to the activated carbon. In its place, a catalytic surface is established which can convert H2S to elemental sulphur which is physically adsorbed. In addition, the product retains an appreciable capacity for organic contaminants. The presence of elemental sulphur on the surface of Liku-Tech Grasp-Sulfone allows the regeneration of the H2S capacity of the material using water. As Liku-Tech Grasp-Sulfone -HC does not carry a chemical impregnation applied with water, the product is supplied in a humidified condition to ensure effective operation on installation to the filter. It is not necessary to pre-equilibrate this product with moisture by exposure to a humidified gas stream before operation of the treatment system.
