19 Unicon Operation and Maintenance Operation and maintenance agreement guarantees the long-term efficient operation of a plant» Customers who have a maintenance agreement are better able to forecast the maintenance costs and required upgrades» The agreement also covers support during operating time and inspections during shutdowns. 19

22 Combustion 1. Even fuel feeding and spreading to the grates. Feeding screws drive motor gears are frequency controlled Very effective moisture evaporation. Moisture content up to 65%. Affected by symmetric conical combustion chamber All grate drives have over current relay and reverse function to prevent damages. 4. Secondary air is fed even on correct levels to ensure low NOx-levels. 5. Fully automated wet bottom ash removal system. Bottom water cools ash and grate support structure. 5 1

Combustion Combustion chamber design:» Cooled: normal biofuels» moisture %» Full refractory : wet fuels» moisture -> 65 % Effective combustion due to three secondary air levels and even primary air feeding to the fuel. Recirculation gas mixed to the primary air and fed directly to combustion chamber to maintain optimal combustion temperature. Lower secondary air is fed into the ash to ensure fully burning Primary air feed is adjustable for each grate ring.

24 Fuel flow on the grate The fuel utilize the grate area very effective before the ash grates. Rotating grate rings. Different rotating direction mix and spread the fuel even on the grates.

25 Drives Continuous smooth rotation ensures even combustion process and better efficiency. Electric grate drives 0,37 kw/ 2,5 rpm drives for rotating grate rings with adjustable frequency control. Better availability: - Overcurrent relay works if jamming occurs

26 Ash grate Frequency driven ash collectors collects the ash down to the bottom water. Collectors mix the ash to help complete combustion.
