Therefore we make an ongoing commitment to decrease the impact of our activities on the planet to the best of our ability. These are some of the steps we ve taken to reduce our carbon footprint: We recycle the waste of raw materials unused during the production process 50 % of our consumption of electricity is produced by our own solar panels Used carpet tiles are converted to secondary fuel, which effectively reduces overall CO 2 emissions All Nylon yarn from the INCATI tiles can be recycled NEW: INCATI SETS SAIL WITH ECONYL BRAND TO EXPLORE A NEW WORLD OF INFINITE REGENERATION We are proud to announce that the Myriad collection is manufactured from 100% sustainable ECONYL BCF yarn. Another important measure to decrease INCATI s environmental impact. ECONYL yarn is a 100% regenerated and regenerable fiber made from pre- and post-consumer Nylon 6 waste materials such as production discards, industrial plastic components, oligomers, fishing nets, fabrics and spent carpets. These materials are recovered all over the world and undergo an extensive depolymerization process to create 100% regenerated ECONYL Nylon yarn used for production of superior quality carpet tiles like INCATI. ECONYL fiber looks like any other fiber but the process behind tells a different story: it is a regenerated yarn with sustainable characteristics but with the same mechanical and technical performances as the standard nylon 6. TO INFINITY AND BEYOND! ECONYL yarns can be regenerated an infinite number of times without any loss of quality. Used INCATI carpet tiles can be converted to secondary fuel, effectively further reducing overall CO2 emissions.
