2 APPLICATION AND USE Simplex R-Evolution SMC can be used for applications inside apartments, above all under the sink, one-family houses, and small commercial activities as bar and restaurants. Attention: this device needs regular periodical maintenance in order to maintain all drinkability features of the treated water and all its improvements as declared by the producer. Hardness measuring kit Salt in tablets CORRECT INSTALLATION Before installing an hydrodynamic softener SIMPLEX R-Evolution SMC, verify that the inlet water does not contain any substance or products with higher parameters than the ones listed here below: 1. Turbidity, silt, mud or solid particles lower to 50 µm. 2. Maximum allowed concentration of total iron: 0,2 ppm. 3. The hardness has not to exceed 75 f and the total of dissolved salts TDS not more than 1000 ppm. 4. Feed water temperature has not to exceed 40 C. Protect the water softener from frost. 5. The concentration of halogenated compounds or similar has not to exceed 0,5 ppm; the same values for the active halogenated as sodium hypochlorite (double as what allowed for the drinkable water).
