APPLICATION PROCEDURES Admiral Liquid is easy to apply and rate calculations are simplified. Consult the dosage chart for suggested rates. Optimum results are achieved by applying prior to or early in the growing season when weeds are on the bottom of a body of water or when aquatic vegetation is growing at depths greater than 2 feet. Reapply as needed during the growing season. Admiral Liquid is usually applied directly from the container near the shoreline. However, Admiral Liquid may even be applied while ice is still covering a body of water. Pour Admiral Liquid on the ice in a circle approximately one yard (approx. 1 meter) in diameter. The ice will melt and Admiral Liquid will be dispersed into the water beneath the ice. Physical removal or other aquatic weed control methods may be used before or after applications of Admiral Liquid. When using an aquatic herbicide, follow all label restrictions, precautions and directions for use. DOSAGE RATES Rate of Admiral Liquid Area to be treated 1 ppm (1) 2 ppm (2) 1 acre-foot (325,851 gal) (3) (1,234 cubic meters) 4 acre-feet (4,936 cubic meters) 8 acre-feet (9,872 cubic meters) 1 quart (0.95 liters) 1 gallons (3.8 liters) 2 gallons (7.6 liters) 2 quarts (1.9 liters) 2 gallons (7.6 liters) 4 gallons (15.2 liters) (1) The following weeds are controlled at 1 ppm when growing at depths greater than 2 feet: Filamentous Blue and Bluegreen Algae, Chara, Leafy Pond Weed, Spirogyra, Slender Naiad, Water Milfoil (treat early).
