10 Step 2: Test the water As soon as the creek is first sampled, the test kit is rushed to Central San s laboratory in Martinez A test request form is completed and the lab gets to work We test continuously until the sample results are statistically clean

19 Step 4: Report the spill SWRCB (the State Water Resources Board, San Francisco Region) report no less than two hours after the overflow Various local agencies, depending on where the overflow happened CIWQS (the California Integrated Water Quality System) within three days

CCCSD has experienced a sewer line blockage, resulting in the discharge of raw sewage. The blockage occurred at (time, date and exact location of the overflow). 24 Step 5: Complete the job Once the Hach test comes back clear (0.2 ppm ammonia), the flushing and pumping can stop and all the equipment can be removed Signs stay up until we get final results from our lab
