The Company NETZSCH do Brasil NETZSCH do Brasil was founded in 1973 and belongs to the Erich NETZSCH Holding family business, which was founded in In1976 the company started to Manufacturer the NEMO Progressing Cavity Pump line and adapted its line of products to different markets and to the most difficult pumping applications in Brazil. Today NETZSCH do Brasil offers a full range of pumps and also complete solutions for Industry Systems such as Power Stations, Petrochemical and Chemical, Food & Beverage Industry, and Wastewater Treatment Plants. NETZSCH do Brasil has manufacturing responsibility for the Americas (North, Central and South), with production being concentrated at the Pomerode - SC factory. NETZSCH do Brasil has also 9 Sales Branches (São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Centro Oeste, Bahia) and export offices for the Americas which allow fast, safe and personalized service. The NETZSCH group is a world leader in Progressing Cavity Pumps with another manufacturing center in China and with its headquarters and manufacturing in Bavaria, Germany. 2

in Hydroelectric Power Plants, Petrochemical & Chemical Industries, Food and Beverage Industries, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and others. NETZSCH Systems For hydroelectric plant customers who want a complete lubrication system, a solution including valves, instruments, filters, heat exchangers etc. mounted on a skid is available. With this acquired experience, the company began to supply other markets such as food industries, petrochemical, paper, beverages and others. For example: Today for the hydroelectric market we supply several Systems such as: - Cooling and Circulation Bearing System: This system can be applied to thrust bearings, turbine guide bearings, generator guide bearings or to combination bearings. This system provides heat dissipation to bearings due to friction and lubrication to components. The main sub-assemblies of this system are pumps, heat exchangers, filters and instruments. The working pressure of this system is low - around 5 bar. - High Pressure System: This system ensures oil film formation during the start-up and the stop of generator units thus avoiding dry bearings. The working pressure of this system is high - around 150 bar. For the food market we supply dosing systems for raw ingredients and dyes during mixing and preparation of high volume, bulk food products. We also manufacture preparation and dosing systems for antioxydants and additives. For the environmental market we supply disinfectant dosing and ph controlling systems. For the Oil & Gas market we supply chemical product injection systems providing medium and high pressure such as: corrosion inhibitors, antifoamers and polyelectrolytes. The Complete Solution As a System manufacturer, NETZSCH offers outsourcing services such as project engineering, contract survey and coordination, testing and certification. Our Systems are fabricated by personnel specialized in solution integration, and we use state-of-the art computer programs and machines. All components and accessories not manufactured by NETZSCH are first class brands and all raw materials have source certification. Our Systems can be assembled, painted and factory-tested in the presence of source inspectors, if requested. We can supply complete documentation, such as test certificates and warranties, according to the customer's requirements. 3

s Oil Coolers with Upper Guide Bearing The purpose of this system is to dissipate heat generated in the upper guide bearing and to lubricate its components. The working pressure is low, and the system's main components are: pumps, heat exchangers, filter and instruments. Fluid: Mineral Oil ISO VG 68 Flow: 162 liters/minute Pressure: 4 bar Temperature: 45ºC 4

Oil Coolers with Combined Bearings This system dissipates the heat generated by combined bearings and lubricates its components. The working pressure is low, the system's main components are: screw pumps, heat exchangers, filter and instruments. Fluid: Mineral Oil ISO VG 46 Flow: 226 liters/minute Pressure: 6 bar Temperature: 55ºC 5

s Oil Coolers with Thrust Bearing under High Pressure This system dissipates the heat generated in the thrust bearings and lubricates its components. The working of this system is until 16bar, and the system's main elements are: pumps, heat exchangers, filter and instruments. The lifting system pressure reaches up to 250bar. Whose purpose of the system is to ensure oil film between metal parts at start-up and shut-down. This system's working pressure is high and its main sub-assemblies are: pumps, filter, and instruments. Fluid: Mineral Oil ISO VG 68 Flow: 940 liters/minute Pressure: 10 bar Temperature: 40ºC 6

Dosing System for Chemical Products: Medium pressure Within the chemical and petroleum industries we supply anti-incrustant and anti-foaming dosing systems. These dosing systems are used to inject the anti-incrustant chemical into piping and equipment that use salt water. The organic or inorganic particles that hinder operation can cause increased maintenance costs. Anti-foaming dosing systems are used for chemical injection into flotation or charging systems where pumping action may generate foam. Fluid: Anti incrustant Flow: 0,25 to 0,70 liters/hou Pressure: 10 bar Temperature: 30ºC 7

s Dosing System for Chemical Products: High Pressure Corrosion inhibitor dosing systems are available for offshore platform applications to prevent the corrosion of piping and equipment. In addition to corrosion inhibitors, other chemicals such as oxygen sequestrates and passivators may be added into the system. When space is limited, the system can be compacted and mounted by means of dosing "skids". Components are dimensioned and mounted to allow safe and fast maintenance. Fluid: Corrosion inhibitor Flow: 2,0 to 5,5 liters/hour Pressure: 80 bar Temperature: 25ºC 8

Dosing System for the Food Market This system is used in the food market for raw ingredients and dye dosing in the high volume, bulk food manufacturing process. Fluid: Dye Flow: 13 liters/hour Pressure: 3 bar Temperature: 25 C In the system depicted we can see a pneumatic NETZSCH pump used for discharge and feeding the tank. Additionally a helical positive displacement NEMO pump is used for dosing the ingredient in the production line. 9

s Filtration and Ingredient Preparation System This system is used for the introduction of additives or product filtration required in the production line. This creates a consistency for filtration and/or preparation of ingredients. Fluid: Additive Flow: 9 m³/h Pressure: 4 bar By supplying tanks, mixers, filters, pumps and other system components, we are able to reduce space requirements in the factory. 10
