1 What is GO 2? GO 2 is a new, safe product to produce 95+% pure Chlorine Dioxide at high yields without expensive equipment, dangerous precursor chemicals or extensive operator training. GO 2 uses 2 simple powders that are mixed together in a measured amount of water to produce a 0.4% (4,000 ppm) Chlorine Dioxide Concentrate that is stable with a half life for a minimum of 30 days when stored properly. The powders themselves have a 5 year shelf life when kept in their sealed containers. The Chlorine Dioxide generated by GO 2 is a potent antimicrobial with 260% the oxidizing power of chlorine with none of the harmful by-products such as chloramines and THMs. GO 2 has none of the corrosion problems of chlorine either. GO 2 has been accepted by the USDA as a chemical intervention that can replace chlorine for the reduction of salmonella on carcasses in poultry processing plants. GO 2 also has NSF 60 approval for use in human drinking water. Additionally, GO 2 will penetrate and remove slime in the water distribution system and prevent the slime layer from returning, and oxidize many water impurities such as iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide.

4 GO 2 - for Turkey Growers TURKEY GROWER RESULTS (CALIFORNIA): All Slime removed after 4 weeks Weight increase after Slime removal, compared to chlorine-acid treatment. No harmful effect on birds Non-corrosive (unlike chlorine) No water acidification required (but 100% possible if desired) TURKEY EGG SANITIZING TRIAL In a 2½ month trial involving 945,000 turkey eggs on a breeder farm with paired egg rooms at a major turkey company in North Carolina, GO 2 was compared to a conventional quaternary product for sanitizing eggs. BASIC INFO: AquaMagic Egg Sanitizer Quat level used- 800ppm ClO2 level used- 1ppm RESULTS: There was a.23% increase on hatch of eggs set using ClO2 Resulting in 2174 more poults. Additionally, the cost of ClO2 used was 1/3 less $$ than the quat cost.

5 HATCHERY APPLICATIONS FOR GO 2? Reduce contamination by improving water quality The use of untreated water in incubators and hatchers may lead to the introduction of pathogens coming from the water supplies. The temperature and humidity of these machines will ensure a massive increase in numbers. One way to prevent this from happening is to disinfect the entire hatchery water system with solutions of GO 2. The addition of GO 2 into the humidity control water can also be effective in controlling contamination introduced either in the air or on the eggs. Fogging GO 2 in rooms will reduce airborne contamination. Safer fumigation of eggs, chicks and machines Formaldehyde is a dangerous chemical to use and is under severe restraint for health and safety reasons. It is also known to affect the chicks when used in hatchers and reduces the effectiveness of vaccinations. Formaldehyde can be replaced with GO 2. Other chemicals such as, hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid which are corrosive, also can be replaced with GO 2. Regular Misting and Fogging to reduce microbial counts The most effective way to control the buildup of spores and fungi in hatcheries and on farms is regular fogging of GO 2. There are a number of commercial systems readily available. Fully automated systems with timer controls will provide the best protection for the larger buildings. If GO 2 is not used to disinfect humidification water, fog it regularly into incubators. In addition to controlling microbial counts, GO 2 will also destroy noxious odors. Egg Handling Hatching egg fumigation: Use tap water to make GO 2 Concentrate. Fill fogger with diluted concentrate and fog eggs until a good coverage is achieved without soaking the eggs. The dosage rate may vary between 1.0ppm- 5.0ppm. HATCHERY APPLICATIONS USE FOR ENTIRE HATCHERY WATER SYSTEM: Dose GO 2 into the entire hatchery water system at levels of ppm for total control throughout the facility: Hatching Egg Storage Room Fog the egg room with GO2. Set fogger to high and fog each area for five minutes. The dosage rate may vary between ppm. General Areas within Hatchery Set fogger to high and fog each area for five minutes. Incubator humidification systems Fit proportional flow dosing pump to humidification water supply line and dose at ppm. Where water reserve containers are used in the incubator add GO2 daily to the tanks. Hatcher fumigation Use GO2 in evaporative trays. Dilute GO2 in clean water and fill evaporative trays and place in the hatcher. Allow to evaporate as a straight replacement for formaldehyde.
