7 SUPER SULFUR/POTASH By Heart of Nature, LLC th Standard Road Bakersfield, CA HEART ( ) Super Sulfur/Potash (SSP) is a Soil Amendment that has been used by conventional growers in the United States for over 15 years. The supply was limited, as the product was the result of a very small mining operation in Nevada In 2007, SSP was approved for use in Organic crop production under 7 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) part 205 National Organic Program. This approval has resulted in increased mining operations, allowing more crop producers and new markets to benefit from the use of this incredible find. SSP is mined from a 100% natural volcanic source, and contains no additives, by-products or refined ingredients whatsoever. Here are the key reasons why SUPER SULFUR/POTASH is quickly replacing other soil amendments in the marketplace: Refined Sulfur can take a very long time to work in the soil. SSP, on the other hand, is in an active oxidizing state, so it goes to work immediately. SSP is a natural source of Potassium (8.5% avg), a valuable high-use plant food. SSP saves water, improves quality and quantity. SSP contains Gypsum in a natural soluble state, providing both soluble calcium and exchangeable Calcium to the soil, which will enhance water penetration and increase cell-wall strength. ph reduction is also very fast.
