3 Introduction For more than a decade, Ramaco Trading & Contracting is operating as a Grade A construction company in the State of Qatar (established in 2001). Ramaco is specialized in providing turn-key solutions in construction industry, featuring design, engineering, construction and property management. Client satisfaction has always been the ethos of Ramaco. This is achieved by a combination of excellent service, finish quality, compliance with health, safety and environment best practices and site rules, professional team, and excellent relationship with its clients. In that regard Ramaco has established an integrated management system based on the requirements of the three standards: ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. Ramaco is already certified ISO 9001:2008 (obtained on 8 June 2014) and ISO14001:2004 and OSHAS18001:2007 (last 2 certificates obtained on 13 June 2016). To be highly successful in the competitive Qatari market and in order to sustain the competitive advantage, Ramaco launched the implementation of a new information technology platform which serves as ERP and project collaboration tool. The growing economy fuelled the development of various sectors, among which the construction. As a construction company, Ramaco was established on the basis of integrity, honesty, trust, commitment to quality & safety, teamwork and respect which form its core values and ideals. Today, we remain devoted to the same principles and objectives that have driven our success over the last decade. These values are ingrained into our company s culture and are followed in every aspect of our business operation through four major tenets: no compromise on produced quality, timely completion of projects, continuous investment in human resources development, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction. We know that success is not achieved overnight. Accordingly, and in little more than a decade we have built on sound foundations to create a strong company staffed by over 1,800 individuals whose collective team spirit and proactive contribution ensure that we remain leaders in our field. Integrated Management System Policy Statement Ramaco bases its Integrated Management Policy on its Integrated Management System, which comply with all the applicable requirements of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Standards. Ramaco top management is committed to the following: Timely execute all projects to meet customer s/ project s requirements and all applicable legal and other requirements. Enhance customer satisfaction. Prevent injury and occupational health s illnesses of all personnel working under the control of Ramaco. Prevent pollution, reduce natural resources depletion and reduce waste generation. Improve continually the effectiveness of the integrated management system by analysing customer feedback, hazard identification, risk assessment, aspects identification, impacts assessment and determining controls, conducting internal audits, implementing trainings (where necessary) and periodically reviewing the integrated management system Communicate this policy to all employees, stakeholders, and all interested parties to ensure continued adherence to this policy.
