1 REPTON ENTERPRISES EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION FORM 2017 INTRODUCTION Repton Enterprises, part of Repton School, is operational during School holidays, hosting residential groups, weddings/functions, running courses etc. We use the school s facilities to generate additional funds for Repton School s facilities development programme. Some termtime staff are employed but many employees are seasonal/casual so a large number are needed for temporary employment in a range of jobs - mainly cleaners and catering assistants but also admin personnel, sports coaches, music assistant, general assistants, handymen/women, etc. Some roles are for a single week specific to one course e.g. sports coach but others e.g. cleaners and catering staff are needed throughout July/Aug and some are also needed at Easter. As the number of guests staying with us varies significantly from week to week, our staffing requirement varies from day to day and week to week. Please indicate your availability on the Availability Sheet please be as precise as you can be. Due to the varying amounts of work available each week, unavailability at certain times will not prejudice your application. As we are a school, we are subject to Child Protection legislation so please complete the form as fully as possible references will be taken up and relevant checks, including enhanced DBS, will be undertaken. 5 Section I Declaration and Application Form Return Details The personal information collected on this form will be used for the purposes of recruitment. If you are appointed this form will be part of your employment record. Repton School, including Repton School Enterprises Ltd, complies with tax legislation which means that all staff who are not registered as selfemployed must provide a signed copy of the relevant Inland Revenue form before any payment can be processed. Self employed personnel should request details of invoicing procedures. I am aware that the School will create computer and paper records on me during the recruitment and selection process. I am aware that, because the employer is a School, I shall be obliged to apply to the Criminal Records Bureau for an enhanced disclosure (Repton School Enterprise Ltd personnel will guide you through this process) should I be offered employment. 6 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 1. Type of Duties The following is a list of some of the tasks undertaken by Repton Enterprises seasonal staff. It would be very helpful if you could complete this to indicate those you would be willing to undertake.
