10 Levy myths The levy money is for wages or direct training for staff. No: It is for funding apprenticeships The levy can only be used for the training of new staff No: It can be used for both new and existing staff There is a physical voucher which you hand to a training provider No: it is managed through a digital account You will receive 15,000 from the government No: this is an allowance before you start paying the levy Levy funds expire at the end of a tax year No: they expire 24 months from the point they enter it 10
