1 ELEVATED WORK PLATFORM OPERATORS CARD - RIIHAN301D OPERATE ELEVATING WORK PLATFORM (UP TO 11M) INFORMATION SHEET Training provided by Southern Training Organisation The aim of this course is to provide participants with information, tuition and activities that will enable students to operate Scissor and Boom type lifts. DATE TIME VENUE COST See below for all dates 8.00am 3.00pm (Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided) Master Builders Skills Centre, 1 Iron Knob Street, Fyshwick, 2609 (Can be delivered at workplace) $285 (rate after rebate) $480 (Payment is required seven days prior to the course) Up to 70% of the course cost may be refundable to eligible applicants through the ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Fund (TFA). For eligible learners the TFA rebate is factored into the pricing structure. COURSE REQUIREMENTS Must provide 100 points of identification and be a minimum of 18 years of age Participants must wear steel capped safety footwear during training and assessment English language skills sufficient to understand both written and verbal instruction Basic numeracy skills Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment (attached) to be completed prior to confirmation of your enrolment CONTENT Hazard identification, risk assessment and controls Inspect, fit and use fall arrest harness Identify safe operating parameters Operation of EWP Pre and post operational checks Emergency procedures CERTIFICATION On successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for RIIHAN301D Operate elevating work platform. Participants will also receive an EWP Operators photo card with a 5 year expiry. Cancellation Policy: If we receive your cancellation a minimum of 5 working days prior to the event you are entitled to a full refund. Registrations cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the commencement of the training being delivered or failure to notify of non-attendance will result in the full training fee being charged. Substitutions will be accepted. MBA Group Training reserves the right to cancel any training initiative or to postpone it to an alternative date. All registered participants affected by such postponement will receive a full refund or be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available training course.
