3 FUNDRAISING RELATIONSHIPS MANAGER. One Girl is on the hunt for a Fundraising Relationships Manager to drive dynamic, ambitious and creative fundraising programs for One Girl, focusing on our Business Partners and Graduation (regular giving) programs. We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to inform, engage, and delight our supporters so we want someone who isn t afraid to think big or bring fresh ideas to the table, and is ready to roll up their sleeves to make it happen. The Fundraising Relationships Manager will develop and implement our Business Partner strategy, finding amazing new businesses and corporates that fit our values and personality. They will also build strong, long-term relationships with our existing partners that support our programs. This role will also take the lead on our Graduation program for regular donors, building a strategy and campaign that grows and retains members, increases income and inspires loyalty for some of our most committed supporters. This is a rare opportunity to join our young, fast-growing organisation and the Fundraising Relationships Manager is in a unique position to drive this growth by taking some of our key fundraising programs to the next level. One Girl operates like a startup, and as such our positions are very fluid you may be asked to complete tasks that are outside of this position description. Ideally this role will suit a person who enjoys taking on new challenges, and would consider themselves a jack (or jill) of all trades.

4 RESPONSIBILITIES. Lead One Girl s business and corporate partner program, building strong relationships with the private sector, growing fundraising income, and developing high-value partnerships. Research, identify and cultivate a pipeline of businesses, philanthropic organisations, trusts and foundations with strategic potential for One Girl s programs. Develop and deliver successful proposals and pitches that generate high-value support for One Girl s programs

Develop a strategy to grow and expand our regular giving programs, generating income, engaging and retaining existing supporters, and inspiring and recruiting new supporters. Work creatively and collaboratively with our fundraising and communications teams to continually improve, experiment and expand our fundraising campaigns. Build relationships, make presentations, speak and represent One Girl and our work to current and future donors, the community and the public. Maintain, manage and improve critical donor information and data in our fundraising systems, and develop insights and analyses based on internal and external data sources.

You think outside of the box and aren t afraid to present ideas, solutions and new concepts that will help One Girl grow and enable more girls to access education. You re willing to learn. You know you won t have all the knowledge, skills, and experience required on day one. And you re okay with that because you re willing to learn. You love up-skilling and the prospect of learning on the job isn t scary, it s energizing. You re a juggler. Not in the circus-sense (though bonus points for that!). But rather, you re able to juggle multiple tasks, areas of focus, and competing priorities with ease. You re cool, calm and collected in the face of deadlines, and you can produce quality work even when you re under the pump.

7 YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE. Relevant qualifications or experience in fundraising, marketing, or communications in a non-profit organisation or social enterprise, with proven understanding of best practice major gift or business development strategies Demonstrable experience in securing funds with the ability to write successful, high-value proposals Demonstrated donor-focused approach Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels, and with people from diverse backgrounds Ability to identify and resolve problems and make appropriate recommendations A passion for gender equality and education, and an understanding of international or community development programs Understanding of and empathy with the values of One Girl TIME COMMITMENT & SALARY. This is a full-time position based in Melbourne. The salary for this role is $70,000 and you may also take advantage of salary packaging benefits as One Girl is an FBT exempt employer.
