Your four six-month rotations will enable you to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business and find your best fit. Whichever route you choose, you ll be making a difference within your team right from the beginning. Ongoing development and support TYour programme will include formal training sessions with your fellow graduates and networking events where you can explore future opportunities. Plus we have over 100 accredited online learning modules if you want to expand your knowledge. You will also learn by working alongside industry experts and being exposed to every aspect of the energy value chain. Who are we looking for? 4 COMMERCIAL Duration: Two years Rotations: Four, each lasting six months Start date: September 2019 Where: Essen, Swindon, London and Singapore Degree requirements: Maths, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or similar Gain deep insight into our trading business while adding value and making an impact across all aspects of the energy value chain. Through this programme, you will learn everything there is to know about a leading European energy trading house and develop the skills you need for long-term career success. You get to choose four rotations within these business areas: Proprietary trading of energy commodities (power, coal, gas, oil, LNG) Commercial asset optimisation Sales and origination Analytical functions such as structuring and valuation or risk management One of your rotations will be in a non-trading function, to give you a broader knowledge of the business as a whole. 5 RWE FINANCE Duration: Two years Rotations: Four, each lasting six months Start date: September 2019 Where: Essen and Cologne, with possibility for rotations across the UK and Netherlands Degree requirements: Any discipline Gain exposure to a range of finance areas while rotating through different operating companies within the RWE Group. The aim is for you to develop the skills, knowledge and experience you need to become a well-rounded finance professional. You get to choose four rotations within these business areas: Controlling Credit risk Accounting Financing Portfolio management Across all your rotations, you ll have varied and meaningful responsibilities, and will be working alongside industry experts. Ideally, we are looking for people with a knowledge of IFRS/IAS and HGB, and with some relevant experience or internships in the energy or finance sector. German language skills are necessary. You have the opportunity to shape your own path, choose the job roles that appeal to you, and live abroad for rotations. GEORGE BOSTON
