3 Consultancy Profile Services & expertise We are a forward thinking planning and design consultancy that helps property developers maximise the potential of their land by achieving planning consents that maximise value. We are part of Re (Regional Enterprise) Ltd which is a specialist multi-disciplinary development and regulatory business which provides services on behalf of London Borough of Barnet and to other clients across London and the South East of the UK. Regional Enterprise Ltd (Re) is the joint venture between the London Borough of Barnet and Capita. Our innovative commercial model was set up in 2013 and brings together the best of public and private sector delivery. Capita PLC is one of the UK s largest employers. Our business exists to help customers transform their services so they can become more efficient, effective or reduce costs. Approximately half of our business is dedicated to supporting the public sector. Planning Appraisals We review associated planning policy, site history, physical constraints and context to inform future proposals. This may include desk based as well as site based assessments. Pre-application support We manage pre-application processes with Local Authorities, including leading meetings and reviewing, interpreting and advising on Local Authority feedback. Planning Application support and advocacy We offer full end-to-end planning management and support, including preparing, lodging planning applications and negotiating outcomes. Planning Appeals We specialise in preparing, lodging and managing planning appeals against Local Authority decisions. Design Our specialist team design buildings using computer aided design (CAD) ranging from house extensions and new houses, to flatted developments and commercial premises. All schemes are planning led in design which has resulted in a strong track record of planning approvals. Measured Surveys We are able to offer measured surveys of existing buildings and land including physical features e.g. trees, fences etc. We have capability to undertake 3D laser surveys where required. Environmental Consultancy In addition to our Development Consultancy services we provide a range of Environmental Consultancy services, including; acoustic assessment, air quality assessments, contaminated land assessments Our project management experience allows us to advise on small specialist development projects through to large-scale multi-disciplinary commissions. 4 5

4 Our team Sarah Tubridy Business Manager Sarah is a goal orientated, lean thinking professional and dynamic Business Manager with experience in client management, outsourcing, business analysis, and change. Sarah understands the need to bring together time, cost and quality with a pragmatic yet stretching approach to deliver the highest quality of service to clients. Tim Simon BRegUrbPlan, MCM, MRTPI Principal Planning Consultant Tim is a dual-qualified Planning and Development Professional specialising in the appraisal, design, and consent for residential led-development. He has held increasingly responsible roles across the UK and Australia for 10+ years in developers, consultancies, and government. Projects have ranged from small-medium sized infill residential projects, to major housing estates featuring market and affordable housing of 600+ dwellings, to multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects. Adding value to our clients projects We offer an integrated planning and design service that can assist you with appraisals, pre-application enquiries, survey, design, and appeals. We ve helped numerous small and medium sized developers to realise the full development potential of their land. Our end-to-end planning management and support makes the planning process as stress free and efficient as possible. We have extensive experience in all aspects of the process and have unique relationships with local planning authorities. Mark Springthorpe BA(Hons) MA(Distinction) Principal Planning Consultant Mark is an experienced practitioner, with over ten years in Local Authority and private sector planning. During that time he has successfully executed hundreds of planning enforcement actions, developed a specialism in appeals and prosecutions and latterly secured consents for a range of householder, minor and major applications. Outside of work, Mark is a devotee of the Arts and recently had his first play performed to packed houses in south west London. Greg Morley BA(Hons) ACIAT Senior Designer Greg is an experienced Design Professional and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. He is skilful in measured surveys using the latest 3D scanning equipment and in design using Revit and AutoCAD, with experience being underpinned by professional qualifications in Architectural Technology. Elsie Soloman - Business Support Officer Elsie is experienced in business administration and financial control. Day-to-day she manages the team finances, administers contracts, and provides project management support. Her personable approach makes clients feel valued and welcome as a friendly face of the team. Ralph Hayes Group Manager Environmental Health & Environmental Consultancy Ralph is a highly experienced Environmental Protection Consultant and has been a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health since Ralph regularly writes Technical Reports, Cabinet reports, witness statements and has led on numerous prosecutions. Ralph was instrumental in setting up Re s Environmental Consultancy practise, his team work on over 40 projects a year and work with a range of private developers and clients. 6 7
