Our tutors are professionally qualified and have worked in the industry, giving you the benefit of their experience and knowledge. This course combines the theoretical knowledge that you will gain in lectures with practical experience through a one year internship. With this combination of knowledge, skills and experience, you will be in a position to excel in the financial marketplace. Accounting tends to be non-cyclical, with professionals needed in both buoyant economic times and also when the economy is not performing well. This course will give you a sense of how important it is for businesses to understand the economy in order to increase their chances of success. No prior knowledge of business or economics is needed to enrol on this course. Developed in partnership with local business organisations, both public and private, this course has been designed to help you meet the many challenges of the complex, dynamic and exciting world of business. In the National Student Survey 2015, there was 97% overall satisfaction with the course. The course will assume that you have an interest in both business and economics, but no formal knowledge of either.
