If they need more support or in-depth advice, we can refer them to an accredited external adviser we have personally met and got to know. Before we refer one of your employees to an adviser, we ask ourselves, Is this a person we d trust with a loved one s financial future? If there s any doubt, we don t. We have external advisers located across the country. 3 Complimentary financial education Easy way to manage super To grow your employees understanding and ownership of their financial future, we can deliver education face-to-face at your workplace and in larger forums, where partners of your employees can also attend. We also offer short videos on a range of super topics, as well as recorded seminar presentations, which are available to your employees 24/7. Our education offering is targeted based on factors such as your employees age, stage of life and super balance. Free to download from the App Store and Google Play, the Sunsuper app for members is packed with features to help your employees manage and stay engaged with their super. Once registered, your employees can access the app with Touch ID, check their balance, update their details, receive notifications of contributions and payments, switch their investments, nominate preferred beneficiaries, and more. As well as reducing the incidence of a range of common chronic diseases, physical health can also help to reduce stress, promote mental wellbeing, and enhance employee engagement. 9 Helping employees understand their health age Protecting your employees with the right insurance cover Through our strategic partnership with insurer AIA, we invite registered employers of Sunsuper to participate in Australia s Healthiest Workplace by AIA Vitality. Your employees can complete an online assessment to receive a personal health report, including their AIA Vitality Age a scientific measure of all aspects of health, including exercise, nutrition and stress, to calculate their health age as a comparison to their chronological age. It s important for your employees to ensure they and their family will be protected should the worst happen. Depending on their specific Sunsuper superannuation plan, your employees may have access to flexible Death, Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) and Income Protection (IP) insurance cover. As a fund catering for more than one million members, we are able to negotiate competitive insurance premiums that may not be available to your employees directly. Sunsuper can offer larger employers tailored insurance arrangements for their employees for Death, TPD and IP. Helping you understand your workplace s health Getting your employees back to work faster Also part of our partnership with AIA, Sunsuper registered employers who participate can receive an in-depth organisational health report, detailing the health profile of their workplace. This can open the door to useful strategies to improve health and wellbeing within your organisation. Any of your employees in the Sunsuper-for-life super plan will be able to access Sunsuper s TPD Assist product, which is different from any other total and permanent disability insurance product in the market. It focuses on capability rather than disability, and is all about helping your employees get back to work faster. The product features early intervention, vocational rehabilitation and retraining support and guidance. Waiting periods are removed for the majority of members to encourage early notification and support. In the event of a claim, TPD Assist is normally paid as up to six annual support payments rather than a lump sum. A single lump sum may be paid under TPD Assist in some circumstances.

10 Mental wellbeing Coping with normal stresses of life, working productively, building positive relationships, and contributing to the community are all characteristics of people who are mentally well. A person s work plays an important role in promoting their mental wellbeing through helping to determine and boost their self-esteem and identity, and providing fulfilment and opportunities for social interaction. 11 Assessing your contribution to your employees mental wellbeing Building your employees engagement and resilience SuperFriend s Wellbeing Works program is an interactive workshop in which SuperFriend will work with a cross-section of your organisation to assess current activities contributing to positive mental health and wellbeing in your workplace, build your knowledge of best-practice mental health promotion, and identify next steps for your business. SuperFriend s Teamtopia program is an innovative, online and face-to-face wellbeing program that uses the scientific principles of positive psychology. After participating, you and your employees can expect to see improved team health and wellbeing, organisational relationships and group functioning. Training for your managers and staff Helping your employees support each other SuperFriend s Mental Health and Wellbeing Training for staff and managers provides employees with the confidence, skills, strategies and tools to ensure they are supported, safe and productive at work. SuperFriend s SuperFit Mates program is an innovative workplace peer-support training program that teaches and empowers employees to become mentors to support the mental health of their colleagues and promote positive mental wellbeing in your organisation.

13 Opportunities to help grassroots groups Programs to support women s financial position Since 2011, our Dreams for a Better World initiative has awarded financial grants to more than 60 charities and not-for-profit groups to help make their dream for a better world come true.
