1 Personal Information Summary 1 In this session, you will learn how to navigate the personal information summary for your employees. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder. Job and Personal Information. And click View Employee Personal Info. 4 The View Employee Personal Information screen should appear. 5 There should be a list of all your employees. Information should include their name, employee ID, employee status among other details. 6 You can change the 'as of date' and click the Refresh Employees button to see your list of employees from a different date. 7 If you click the Select button associated with one of your employees, you will be routed to the Employee Information page for that particular employee. 8 Here you will see their personal information, including their position, start date, location, and wether they're full or part time. 9 You'll also be able to access their home and mailing addresses, addresses, phone numbers and other information by clicking on the appropriate link in the Additional Information section. 10 You have now learned how to navigate the personal information summary page for your employees. 2 View Payable Time for Department Employees 1 In this session, you will learn how to view payable time for department employees. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder.time Management. View Time. And click Payable Time Summary. 4 You will be routed to the Payable Time Summary page. 5 Here you can enter or look up Employee Selection Criteria based on a number of factors, including Time Reporter Group, Employee ID, First Name, Last Name, and others. 6 You can either type in the selection criteria value and select the appropriate value once it appears in the drop down menu. Alternatively, you can click the magnifying glass on the side of the value boxes. A search box will appear and you can look up the value either by the criterion or a description. 7 Once you've selected the criteria, click the Get Employees button. This should pull up a list of employees that match your criteria. 8 In this example, we will search for Kate Hudson. At the bottom of the page, her information should show up. 9 Information will include the employee's first and last name, employee ID, employee record, job title, hours to be approved, hours approved or submitted, denied hours, and exceptions. Click on the Demographics tab to view additional details about their role. Then, if you click the employee's name, their payable time summary will be displayed. 10 To clear criteria, click the Clear Criteria box. To save criteria for another time, click the Save Criteria box. 11 A final note to make is that you can refresh the time sheet by entering the start date and end date and clicking the refresh button. 3 View Compensatory Time for Department Employees 1 In this session, you will learn how to view compensatory time for deparment employees. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder. Time Management. View Time. And click Compensatory Time. 4 You will be routed to the Compensatory Time page. 5 Here you can enter or look up Employee Selection Criteria based on a number of factors, including Time Reporter Group, Employee ID, First Name, Last Name, and others. 6 You can either type in the selection criteria value and select the appropriate value once it appears in the drop down menu. Alternatively, you can click the magnifying glass on the side of the value boxes. 4 Compensation History 1 In this session, you will learn how to view compensation history for direct reports. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder. Click Compensation and Stock. Note that this folder will only contain information on Compensation, not Stock. Then, click the View Compensation History link. 4 The View Compensation History page should appear with Employee Selection Critera. Criteria will include the employee's name, employee ID, Job, Employee Status, and other details. You may click the As of Date box to change the date. After selecting a date, click the Refresh Employees button to view your employes from that date. 5 Select the direct report of whom you wish to view the compensation history as of the MDConnect Go-Live date. 6 A Compensation History page should appear. You should see the Date of Change, Amount, Change, Type, Source, Currency, and Job Title. 7 If you hover over the employee's name, you will be able to view basic HR information of the employee. 8 Back on the Compensation History page, click the Compensation History Chart button in the top righthand This page will display the employee's compensation data changes in a graphical format. 9 Here you can select to view the history of a different compensation source by selecting from the Compensation Source list and the Variable Cash list. 10 Once you are finished, click the Return button. Then, click the Return to Select Employees. 11 You have now learned how to view an employee's compensation history. Thank you for watching.

5 View Schedules for Department Employees 1 In this session, you will learn how to navigate schedules for deparment employees. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder. Time Management. Manage Schedules. And click Assign Work Schedule. 4 The Assign Work Schedule page should appear. 5 Here you can enter or look up Employee Selection Criteria based on a number of factors, including Employee ID, Employee Record, Name, Business Unit, Department, and Organizational Relationship. 6 You can type in the selection criteria value and select the appropriate value once it appears in the drop down menu. 7 Once you've selected the criteria, click the Search button. This should pull up a list of employees that match your search. 8 In this example, we will search for Kate Hudson. Her profile should appear. 9 On her profile, you will see her Primary Schedule and Alternate Schedule. For now, we will look at her Primary Schedule. Here you should see an Effective Date, an Assignment Method, a Schedule Group, a Schedule ID, a Description of the schedule, and the ability to show the schedule. 10 You can click the plus sign button to add a new schedule row and select the minus sign button to delete a schedule. 11 To view a work schedule, click the Show Schedule option. You will be routed to the Schedule Calendar page for your employee. 12 On this page, you will see a breakdown of the employee's work schedule, including the times they arrive, their breaks, and the time they leave for the day. You will also see how many hours they are scheduled each day too. 13 By clicking on the Shift Detail link, you will see a more detailed version of their shift for any given day. 14 You can also view a calendar from a different time period by selecting the From Date and clicking the Load Calendar button. 15 Once you are finished viewing the employee's schedule, you can click 'OK' at the bottom of the screen. 16 Once you are all set, click the OK button to return to your employee's work schedule page. 17 To save your changes, click the Save button. To start a new search, click the Return to Search button. 18 You have now learned how to navigate schedules for department employees. Thank you for watching.

6 Approve Reported Time for Department Employees 1 In this session, you will learn how to approved reported time for department employees. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder.time Management. Approve Time and Exceptions. And click Reported Time. 4 You will be routed to the Approve Reported Time page. 5 Here you can enter or look up Employee Selection Criteria based on a number of factors, including Time Reporter Group, Employee ID, First Name, Last Name, and others. 6 You can either type in the selection criteria value and select the appropriate value once it appears in the drop down menu. Alternatively, you can click the magnifying glass on the side of the value boxes. A search box will appear and you can look up the value either by the criterion or a description. 7 Once you've selected the criteria, click the Get Employees button. This should pull up a list of employees that match your criteria. 8 You change the view, there are several options in the Change View section. You can choose to view by week, day, or all time before or after a certain date. You can determine whether you'd like to include absence or show schedule information as well. 9 To clear criteria, click the Clear Criteria box. To save criteria for another time, click the Save Criteria box. 10 At the bottom of the page, you will see a list of your employees that need reported time approval. Here you can see the hours to be approved and their reported hours. By selecting the box in the select column, you will then be able to approve, deny, or pushback their request. 11 For this example, we will approve the employee's request. Click the Approve button. A prompt will come up, asking if you are sure that you would like to approve the time selected. Click 'Yes', then 'OK'. 12 You have now learned how to approve reported time for department employees. 7 Initiate Absence Request for Direct Report 1 In this session, you will learn how to initiate an absence request for a direct report. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder. Time Management. Report Time. And click Absence Request. 4 A Request Absence screen should appear. 5 There should be a list of all your employees. Information should include their name, employee ID, employee status among other details. 6 You can change the 'as of date' and click the Refresh Employees btton to see your list of employees from a different date. 7 If you click the Select button associated with one of your employees, you will be routed to a Request Absence screen for that particular employee. 8 You will want to enter a Start Date, which is the first day that you are requesting off. Then, you'll want to select an Absence Name. The Absence Name is a preselected option that provides a short description of the type of absence. In this example, we'll select Vacation. 9 At this point, depending on the Absence Name, more options may appear. In this case, we should see End Date, Partial Days, and Duration boxes. For now, we'll only fill in the End Date. 10 Click the Calculate End Date or Duration. When you click this, it should automatically fill in either End Date or Duration. For some Absence Names, you'll need to click the Forecast Balance button before submitting. This indicates your employee's eligibility for taking time off by taking into consideration their available balance. The Available Balance should be listed on side in hours. Let's now click the Forecast Balance button. If the returned value is Eligble, you can proceed. If it reads 'Ileligible', then you may need to make a correction to your absence details. 11 Under the workflow section, you will want to select the option of Manager in the 'Request As' box. 12 You may want to write a comment in the Requestor Comments box for additional details regarding the absence request, but for now, we'll skip past it. Note that you have the option to save this absence request to submit at a later time. If you would like to do this, you can click the Save button. You can continue working on the absence request and submit it through the absence request history page. 13 However in this example, you'll want to click the Submit button. 14 A Sumbit Confimration screen will come up, asking if you're sure you want to sumbit the absence request. Select 'yes'. Then 'OK'. 15 Finally, you should be routed to your Request Details page where you can review your request. 16 You have now learned how to initiate an absence request for a direct report. 8 View Absence Balance of Direct Report 1 In this session, you will learn how to view absence balances of a direct report. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder. Time Management. View Time. And click Absence Balances. 4 The View Absence Balances screen should appear. 5 There should be a list of all your employees. Information should include their name, employee ID, employee status among other details. 6 You can change the 'as of date' and click the Refresh Employees button to see your list of employees from a different date. 7 If you click the Select button associated with one of your employees, you will be routed to the View Absence Balances for that particular employee. Let's click the Select button. 8 A screen should appear that shows the employees' absence entitlement balances. This will include Current Balances, describing the Entitlement Name, Balance, Start and End dates, and the Accrual Period. 9 You have now learned how to view the absence balance of a direct report. 9 View Absence History of Direct Report 1 In this session, you will learn how to view absence history of a direct report. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder. Time Management. View Time. And click Absence Request History. 4 The Absence Request History screen should appear. 5 There should be a list of all your employees. Information should include their name, employee ID, employee status among other details. 6 You can change the 'as of date' and click the Refresh Employees button to see your list of employees from a different date. 7 If you click the Select button associated with one of your employees, you will be routed to the Absence Request History for that particular employee. Let's click the Select button. 8 Here you will see all previous absence requests given the date selection. Information will include [insert what is displayed on the screen] 9 If you would like to see absence requests from a particular date range, enter the start date in the From box and the end date in the Through box. Then click 'Refresh'. 10 Also note that the edit button is greyed out. This is because after submitting an absence request, you may no longer edit it. 11 You have now learned how to view the absence request history of a direct report. Thank you for watching.

10 Approve Leave 1 In this session, you will learn how to approve leaves for your employees. 3 Click on the Manager Self Service folder. Time Management. Approve Time and Exceptions. And click Absence Requests. 4 An Absence Requests screen should appear. 5 Here you are able to show requests by status by selecting from the drop down either 'Approved', 'Denyed', or 'Pending' and clicking the Refresh button. 6 In the Absence Requests table, you should see a Name, Employee ID, Job Title, Absence Name, Start and End Date, a Status, and a Submitted column. 7 Click on the employee's name. This will route you to the Absence Request details. 8 You will be able to either approve, deny, or push back this absence request by selecting the appropriate button. Note that the push back button returns the request to the previous step in the approval process. 9 For now, we will click the Approve button. Click 'Yes'. Then click 'OK'. 10 You have now learned how to approve leaves for your employees. Thank you for watching.
