11 KEY STEPS IN MANAGEMENT SOURCING ASSESMENT Perform head hunting and mining of suitable candidates from the QSL human resource data base Conduct detailed skills and competency based assessments on shortlisted candidates, and forward the best candidates to client, from whom the final candidate is selected. Conduct a medical health check exercise for the successful candidates Perform general physical and mental health checks (considering the potential stressful situations that the work environment may be PLACEMENT Conduct thorough education, work experience and criminal background checks to include Interpol security vetting. Compile and maintain candidate personal file documents Issuance of staff service contracts and corresponding identification cards, medical insurance cards, and requisite work uniform, tools and equipment Do a site orientation of all successful candidates, on client expected business practices, policies and procedures on the client premises/project sites. Conduct a performance assessment exercise through a 3 month probation period for managers and 1 month probation period for officers before confirmation of staff.

13 KPI Definition Outcome Medical Cover/ Insurance Salaries Payroll Records Labor Regulation PAYROLL MANAGEMENT OBLIGATIONS Medical cover should be in place for all staff, that is both In & Out patient plus emergency evacuation from remote areas in case of an emergency Salaries to be paid by the end of the month in full or as advised by client. Retain payroll records for submission to client on request, Including names of all staff paid, dates salaries paid and pay slips issued. Adherence to laid down labor regulations regarding statutory deductions, grievance handling, etc All client employees under Workman s Compensation; Group Personal Accident with-in 24 hours; Third Party Liability Insurance; and Professional Indemnity Insurance. (as agreed with the client.) Salaries to be paid in full on the last day of each month Submit monthly payroll return to client as requested and issue pay slips to staff on a monthly. 21 Risk Management Key Project Operational Approach Occupational safety culture, and maintains appropriate policies, procedures and management systems for prudent and effective supervision and management of all operational sites. Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis. Hazard Identification and control Where hazardous material is handled, the risks are assessed in alignment with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for respective materials handled. The MSDS contain specific work instructions, work tools and equipment relevant while working with Hazards. Personal Protective Ware Staff are sensitized on the importance and use of appropriate PPE as a proactive measure against the prevalent Risks.

22 Key Project Operational Approach Staff Orientation & Skills development All QSL staff receive orientation at their respective sites and job locations, in recognition of the Job Safety Analysis done for the job placement. Sharing of identified operational best practices to ensure zero-incidents. In addition, routine risk assessments and training needs assessments shall be conducted to follow up on training gaps, near miss reports and any other incident reports. Other mandatory trainings are carried out for all staff, however there are representatives on all teams or work shifts (These staff will be clearly identified and their names displayed on all sites) who shall be trained as Peer Educators, First Aiders, Fire Marshals, etc.
