BANK'S RESPONSE TO QUERIES RECEIVED FROM PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ON -LOAD STRESS TESTING 1 Section Section Section 5 56 Section 5 2. Responsibility of Vendor/Bider Section 5 3. Details of system under test: Section 5, 2. Responsibility of Vendor/Bider The successful bider to commence Load/Stress testing within 1 week from the award of contract. Testing timeline: Does bank has any typical duration planned in which they want to complete the Performance Testing project? What are the application/technology other than Finacle if any we need to consider - can we get an architecture diagram? It is assumed that only Load and Stress shall be in the scope of performance testing - Please confirm this is true. IDBI does not want Failover and Endurance tests to be performed. The planned duration for completion of Load/ stress testing is one and half month from the date of commencement. The schedule of activities and timelines for various activities shall be prepared by the bidder accordingly. Load/Stress testing should be carried out for Finacle application. Please refer the Scope of Services for more details. The details of architecture shall be shared with successful bidder The Scope of Testing is Load/ Stress Testing of Core Banking Application (Finacle). Page 1 of 7

BANK'S RESPONSE TO QUERIES RECEIVED FROM PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ON -LOAD STRESS TESTING 4 Section Section 5 55 The end objective is to LAN/WAN environment as measured at client end, number of concurrent users carrying out different types of transactions 1. Scope of the Service(s): Point No. 9 In Sec 5 it is mentioned " The end objective is to LAN/WAN environment..." - can we get the details of the H/w? It is mentioned "The analysis must be carried out on all servers indicating." - as mentioned in the, The details of the servers can be shared with the successful bidders only at a later point. Can we get to know how many servers we need to plan the test? This helps in estimating the effort. Details of hardware shall be shared with successful bidder. It is a Three Tier architecture having three servers Web, App and DB. Page 2 of 7

BANK'S RESPONSE TO QUERIES RECEIVED FROM PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ON -LOAD STRESS TESTING 6 Section Section Scope of the Service(s): Point No. 12 Section 5 2. Responsibility of Vendor/Bider. Point No. C There is a suggested activity "Post implementation Gap Analysis" - what is bank expected us to do in that period. Also, if the access to Productions logs be given to testing team? The Vendor shall comply with the Banks internal audit (including ISO Audit) requirement as well as third- party external auditors for conducting periodical audit.- can we get the details of the audits where Testing team needs to be part of? In case of any major bottlenecks detected in the levels tested during first iteration and bank requires application vendor to fix the related issues, the bidder needs to perform aother round of testing. The successful bidder shall be provided the access to the logs relevant to the testing requirements This is one time exercise. The successful bidder shall comply to the security policy of the Bank in respect of external parties when access to information is required Page 3 of 7

8 Section 5 55 BANK'S RESPONSE TO QUERIES RECEIVED FROM PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ON -LOAD STRESS TESTING The end objective is to LAN/WAN environment as measured at client end, number of concurrent users carrying out different types of transactions. "The end objective is to LAN/WAN environment as measured at client end, number of concurrent users carrying out different types of transactions."-does bank has any benchmark available against which the performance result expectation will be compared? If not how we will know what extent of tuning is expected? also, its assumed based of Performance Testing findings, a tuning analysis needs to be done, if any bottleneck identified they will be fixed and another cycle of performance testing will be executed. Please In case of any major bottlenecks detected in the levels tested during first iteration and bank requires application vendor to fix the related issues, the bidder needs to perform aother round of testing. 5 BANK'S RESPONSE TO QUERIES RECEIVED FROM PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ON -LOAD STRESS TESTING The stress testing milestones will be as follows: 5000 concurrent users concurrent users concurrent users In the there are 3 load stages mentioned concurrent users concurrent users concurrent users The Successful bidder need to perform testing in three stages for all menu options to be tested and provide the results. 9 Section 5 55 Is it we need to conduct 3 stages of performance testing with specific user load targets? Or is it in a single schedule multiple milestone need to be kept? Do you have any preferences? The testing shall be carried out in LAN Environment. 10 Section 5 55 Performance load testing and tuning analysis will be conducted in LAN environment. Performance SLA will be shared for LAN (DC) and for WAN will do a simulation from any of specific branches. This is standard approach in doing WAN simulation. Please let us know if Bank has any different understanding. Page 5 of 7

BANK'S RESPONSE TO QUERIES RECEIVED FROM PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ON -LOAD STRESS TESTING Section 5 Section Details of system under test: Test Conditions 3. Details of system under test: Test Conditions Test Conditions: C: Transaction Mix: The transaction mix to be used for the testing will be discussed with the successful bidder and the menu options to be tested shall be informed. The Scope covers all the Modules available in Finacle version A Final list of menu options under the scope of testing would be provided to the successful bidder. Test Conditions: C: Transaction Mix: The transaction mix to be used for the testing will be discussed with the successful bidder and the menu options to be tested shall be informed. The Scope covers all the Modules available in Finacle version A Final list of menu options under the scope of testing would be provided to the successful bidder. One of the factor for estimating the effort for performance testing is how many transactions to script and execute. Although the actual transactions will be shared by Bank during the engagement, at this point, does bank has any number of transactions in mind for which we need to script and execute Load/Stress testing? In the scope section there is a mention of Transactions. We assume these are online transactions. Also, there is no mention of any Batch jobs to be part of the scope of Load/Stress testing. Hence our assumption is Load/Stress Testing of any Batch jobs are out of scope. Please confirm. The testing should be carried out for all menu options in Finacle. However the final selection of menus shall be discussed with successful bidder The testing should be carried out for all menu options in Finacle. However the final selection of menus shall be discussed with successful bidder Page 6 of 7
