10 KYRENE SCHOOL DISTRICT ENGAGEMENT SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS The Kyrene School District gained back the engagement ground lost in the school year. Active disengagement is at its lowest point since the district began measuring in The item someone has talked to me about my progress in the last six months was one item that responsible for the improved level of engagement. All engagement items improved from the previous administration. The Q12 survey was administered in the winter of the This is a different time of year (post-winter break) than previous administration. Teacher engagement is up in the district, and more teachers say the mission and purpose of the organization makes them feel their job is important. Principal engagement remains high, though fewer principals strongly agree they have the opportunity to do what they do best every day. Some support services teams improved engagement, including the transportation team. While employee engagement reached its highest point, student hope, engagement and well-being are declining in the district overall. Copyright 2014 Gallup, Inc. All rights reserved. 10
