3 Section 1: Login Steps Step 1: Launch PeopleSoft HR via Start > All Programs > CTCAPPS > Peoplesoft HR Step 2: Select your organization and click Submit Step 3: Log-on to PeopleSoft HR using your LAN ID and Password User Name = LAN ID (e.g. sally.brown) Section 2: Employee Self Service Part A: Time Reporting To review your Time Reporting Information such as Vacation, Sick, Stat etc, navigate to Self-Service > Time Reporting > Viewable Time > Payable Time Detail. Enter the desired date range and click refresh to view the time. Page 3

4 Part B: Personal Information To review or make changes to your personal information navigate to Self Service > Personal Information, and then choose the type of information to review or change. Part C: Payroll and Compensation To review your payroll or compensation information, navigate to Self Service > Payroll and Compensation, and then choose the type of information to review or change. Part D: Suppressing Pay Advice To suppress your paper pay advice (i.e. only access pay stub on line), follow these steps: Step 1: Navigate to Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > Direct Deposit Step 2: Click on the Pay Statement Print Option hyperlink Page 4

5 Step 3: select the 2 nd radio button to turn off paper pay statement and click the button Part E: Learning and Development To review your Training and Development information navigate to Self Service > Learning and Development, and then choose the type of information to review or change. Note: To add or edit information, start by clicking the Edit Profile link. Note: All areas marked with an * need to be populated before you continue. Please remember to Click OK after every section followed by SAVE and SUBMIT twice. Section 3: Manager Self Service Part A: Job and Personal Information The Job and Personal information Summary displays your employee s personal information on one page. Navigate to Manager Self Service > Job and personal Information. Page 5

6 On the following screen, enter the desired effective date and Click Continue. Employees that directly report to you will now display. To view additional information for an employee, select the button next to the employee s name and click Continue The Employee Information page displays with general job information. Select any of the hyperlinks listed in the Additional Information section to view Additional Information about the employee Part B: Compensation History Compensation History shows the manager changes made to employee Pay Rates. Navigate to Manager Self Service > Compensation > Compensation History. On the following screen, click on the direct report that you would like to view. The selected employee s history will then display. Page 6

7 Note: Higher level managers can view SOR or lower level employee info by selecting the of the manager s name on the employee list screen icon to the right Part C: View Employee Detail Review Time Reporting Information for your direct reports: vacation, sick, stat etc. Navigate to Manager Self Service > Time Management > View Time > Payable Time Detail. On the following screen click Get Employees. Click on an employee in the list to view their details. Part D: Learning and Development Managers can view any education information recorded by their direct reports. Navigate to Manager Self- Service > Learning and Development > Team Person Profiles. On the following screen, click the Continue button and then choose the employee to see their details. Page 7

8 Section 4: My Company Select the My Company option to access links to various useful internal and external HR-related sites. Clicking on a selection will open the link in a new window.
