2 1. Background The revision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework of the Global Strategy was endorsed by the 1 th GSC meeting. The main objective of the revision was to ensure that the monitoring of the Global Strategy is a continuous management function that aims primarily to provide programme coordinators at global and regional levels with regular feedback and early indications of progress towards the achievement of intended results. In connection to the revision of the monitoring framework, the logical framework was also revised in order to better track actual performance and ensure that the implementation of the programme is resultsoriented, meaning that its main goal is to provide better reports to stakeholders on the progress made in terms of output and outcomes. Furthermore, the reporting templates were revised and standardized. During the 11 th GSC meeting, members endorsed the new output five Sustainable agricultural integrated surveys implemented in countries. In this light, the logical framework has been revised in order to incorporate this new output (table 1). 2. Changes in the logical framework Following the GSC endorsement of output 5 Sustainable agricultural integrated surveys implemented in countries, the following changes have been included in the monitoring framework of the Global Strategy: 1) Creation of the new output 5 Sustainable agricultural integrated surveys implemented in countries which only affects the implementation of the activities executed at Global Level. 2) Development of a new output indicator to measure the performance of the new output. The new output is created at Global level and is called AGRIS methodology tested in full scale in one country 3) Development of two activity indicators at Global level associated to this new output namely: Agris methodology tested in one country Guidelines for linking LSMS and AGRIS developed In light of these changes, the new output 5 has been added to the logical framework of the Global Strategy as follows: 2
