1 SECOND PHARMA HR SUMMIT 2016 Tailoring Talent for Tomorrow : A Pharma HR Perspective Transforming Scientific Excellence To Employability 23 RD & 24 TH January 2016 Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee in association with Pharma HR Society of India organized the Second Pharma HR SUMMIT 2016 on 23 rd and 24 th Jan 2016 with theme Tailoring Talent for Tomorrow : A Pharma HR Perspective and Transforming Scientific Excellence To Employability at Hotel, Le Meridien, Nagpur. This is one of the unique summit organised by this college in Maharashtra. For this summit there were around 30 Pharma HR professionals from various Pharma companies. The objective of this seminar was to share and communicate HR views to students and academicians. It provided a common platform to discuss various issues of Human resource professional in pharmaceutical industry thereby minimizing the gap between industrial expectations and actual academic output. It also provided the students to communicate with HRs and know their expectations, help/assist Institutes in increasing effectiveness of their academic output. as it seems very difficult for pharma HRs professional to hire skilled and eligible candidate. This summit had made students aware about the present pharmaceutical scenario and helped them to make employable. With this approach Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee is consistently organizing such events to create a win-win situation. It polishes students to improve their communication, presentation skills, personality, positive attitude and approach towards career and jobs in corporate world. Key Note Address by Dr. Vilas Dahanukar Dr. Vilas Dahanukar Chief Guest of the function Dr. Vilas Dahanukar, Sr. Vice President, Process R & D Dr. Reddys Laboratory, Hyderabad in his key note address adviced the students to be very objective about deciding their career and guided them with the skills required by the industry. On this occasion he had also assured to conduct campus placement for the students of SKB in coming time. Mr. Sumeet Salunkhe Mr. Sumeet Salunkhe Plant Head, Lupin Ltd. Nagpur Guest of Honour of the function Mr. Sumeet Salunkhe, Plant Head, Lupin Ltd. Nagpur in his address told about the expansion plan of the Lupin Nagpur plant that is in progress and will be in operation by 2017 offering job to more than 1000 people. He also said that Nagpur plant will be one of the most advanced and sophisticated opereations that will largely give emphasis on local recruitment.

2 Mr. Akhilesh Mishra President, PHRS Mr. Akhilesh Mishra, President of Pharma HR society discussed the objectives of society and invited the Pharma HR professionals to take active part in the functioning of society for the benefit of the society at large. He also stated that the society will work for the development of pharma HUB in MIHAN Nagpur. Planery Sessio n I (Ms. Shabnam Gaitonde) Ms. Shabnam Gaitonde Alembic Pharma Ltd, Mumbai Ms. Shabnam Gaitonde Alembic Pharma Ltd, Mumbai, opened the first session on the topic Transfering talent from institute to industry and tried to motivate the students for professional resume writing, attitude building, presentation skills at the corporate front. Mr. Ankush Jamadagni, Mylan Ltd, Bangalore Mr. Ankush Jamadagni, Mylan Ltd, Bangalore during his session discussed the overview of Pharma organizational values and careerr choices available. He also stressed on the various career avenues that are available in the field of Pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Sameer Gaikwad Pfizer Ltd, Mumbai Mr. Sameer Gaikwad Pfizer Ltd, Mumbai started his session with transition from campus to job introductory speech which covers all important avenues deal with campus job and global trends in corporate word. Speech silently touches and teaches about flow and cones how to transform from campus to corporate job. Ms Vaishali Vaidya, Flemingo Pharma Ltd, Mumbai., opened her IV plenary session on day two. She threw light upon employee stability in corporate world from HR prospective which directly dealt with attrition in pharmaceutical industry and the reasons in the global market. 4 FIRST PHARMA HR SUMMIT 2016 Industrial Expectations and Academic Output Output: Building a Rapport to Bridge the Gap th 13 & 14th Oct 2012 We had organized First Pharma HR Summit 2012 in Oct 2012, where 18 HR Managers from various Pharmaceutical Industries had participated. The theme of the summit was to Bridge the Gap between Pharmaceutical Industries and Academia Academia. We are the first Pharma Institute to organize such Pharma HR summits.
