2 APPLICATION PACK o you have community fundraising experience and/or experience of recruiting and developing donors and committed giving schemes? If so, we have a new opportunity to develop individual giving for one of the largest football community trusts. The role will focus primarily on community fundraising, including large-scale events, donor recruitment, and initiating and growing the charity s regular giving programme. The charity is committed to fundraising development and this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to take a step up in their career. 4 JOB SCRIPTION Job Title: Fundraising Officer Reporting to: Head of Fundraising and evelopment Pay: 32,000 36,000 Contract type: Full time, permanent Location: CAFC Training Ground, New ltham ays and hours of work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week ocument created: February 2017 Ref number CACT/FR171 Main Purpose of Post: The postholder will be responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day implementation of individual fundraising, through a variety of methods in order to significantly grow the charity s voluntary income. 5 To devise and implement plans for donor development and to design, initiate, manage and grow a committed giving scheme To develop and implement outstanding donor care packages In conjunction with the Head of Fundraising and evelopment, to set and meet income targets for individual and community fundraising To raise the profile of Charlton Athletic Community Trust and awareness of its work in local communities To communicate Charlton Athletic Community Trust s work, vision, brand and messages to a range of external audiences uties and Responsibilities: To create and implement practical fundraising plans, based on the fundraising strategy, for the long term In conjunction with key stakeholders, to develop the organisation s key messages and case for support in relation to fundraising appeals and activities To identify, develop and oversee community fundraising activities To develop sound processes for capturing and using donor data in accordance with data protection legislation To recruit new donors, increase the donor base and generate more voluntary income To develop methods to increase donations from existing and potential donors To manage a programme of fundraising appeals, including direct mail and other communications that support fundraising activity To develop donor care packages and a personalised thanking strategy and ensure that these are implemented consistently To implement and manage a committed giving scheme To ensure the maintenance of the fundraising database and undertake analysis of data in relation to each area of fundraising activity To develop promotional materials to support a range of fundraising activities To create and manage online fundraising content To prepare and present progress reports on different fundraising activities To engage and enthuse other staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders with respect to fundraising initiatives To work at all times within the law and codes of practice issued by the Institute of Fundraising and the Fundraising Regulator To attend training events to develop skills as identified in appraisal / objective setting Other duties consistent with the requirements of the charity
