9 In the News Acadiana Society for Human Resource Management Announces 2016 Human Resource Professional of the Year: RoxAnne Chaisson-Pitre, SMILE Community Action Agency Lafayette, LA: The Acadiana Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM) is excited to announce the 2016 Human Resource Professional of the Year Ms. RoxAnne Chaisson-Pitre, Equal Opportunity Officer at SMILE Community Action Agency. Ms. Chaisson-Pitre was nominated for this honor by Jaime Gabriel, Human Resources Manager for SMILE Community Action Agency. Ms. Chaisson-Pitre joined SMILE in 2005 and later earned numerous awards and recognitions including two national training certifications. A thorough listing of accomplishments was submitted along with Ms. Chaisson-Pitre s nomination.
