PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Zeed n Cee Company Ltd PROJECT COORDINATOR August 2015 to Present Participate in development of annual plans, work-plans and budget preparation for resource allocation and control. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships including representation in relevant meetings and forums. In collaboration with research and evaluation department, carry out continued research and analysis; manage data collection, presenting findings and recommendations; data extraction and analysis; prepare databases as well as manage and manipulate them whenever needed. General program management as well as establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with relevant government ministries, donors, and grass root beneficiaries. Provide technical guidance and direction to implementing partners on high impact interventions. Build local partnerships to ensure sustainable, community services. Promote ways for sites to gather feedback and also knowledge sharing meetings. Conduct biannual data/performance reviews including providers, managers, youth representatives, and county health management teams (CHMTs). Participate and support the development of appropriate policies, standards and guidelines for maternal and newborn, family planning and adolescent reproductive health technical working groups in the Ministry of Health s Division of Family Health. Assist with administrative duties such as staff recruitment and selection, building capacity of new staff and teams, technical evaluation of proposals, responding to requests from the Dutch Embassy, and handling VIP visits. Ensure all implementing partners follow standard operating procedure, guidelines and best practices. Review and provide feedback on data generated by implementing partners on a monthly quarterly basis and develops partner specific strategies to address challenges in implementation based on data reviews. Support community groups to submit proposals to Africa Alliance, track grants awarded to community groups and narrative and financial reports are in comply to donor reporting requirements Provide technical assistance and manage community activities in seven counties in Kenya (Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega, Trans-Nzoia, Vihiga, Siaya & Uasin Gishu). Responsible for tracking results against benchmarks and indicators set for implementing partners Work with Alliance and Africa Region Support staff and partners to develop and write reports, studies, and presentations related to community engagement efforts; including information for donor documents.

4 Africa Alliance YOUTH COORDINATOR September 2012 to September 2013 Conduct training needs assessments, plan trainings and facilitate training sessions for community support groups and peer educators. Provide administrative support including scheduling and coordinating meetings and conferences, taking notes, setting-up meeting rooms, making copies, and travel planning. Provide programme and administrative support in the preparation of programme work plans, budgets, and proposals on programme implementation arrangements. Responsible for the production of documents, including agreements, contracts, disbarment schedules, project timelines and work plans, activity reports and financial and narrative reports during contract period. In collaboration with the Program Manager, oversee and monitor work-plans and budgets for community programmes in accordance to donor and organizational policies. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS 1. Pupils from fifty (50) primary schools document cases of sexual reproductive health injustices in their communities supported by County Ministers of Education and headteachers. 2. Part of the team that implemented Dear Mama campaign. It was recognized among Kenya s four success stories singled out and highlighted to the world at the International Conference on Family Planning in Nusa Dua, Indonesia in Conducted county dialogue meetings where youth, women and young women had opportunities to discuss with their Governors, Deputy Governors, Members of County to find community owned solutions to the challenges facing the community. 4. Establishment of a website for fortnight postings of community interventions to update the Dutch Embassy and be accountable to the tax payers. 5. Increase in number of school girls completing primary and secondary education despite pregnancies. This was achieved by advocacy with government and ministry of education. 6. Built capacity of youth and created spaces for young people to represent their issues at local, national and international forums.

5 7. Despite project being focused on awareness creation and knowledge building, leveraging efforts were undertaken to ensure health systems strengthening for service delivery. 8. Supported county health management teams in the counties to utilize the data collected for decision making. German Foundation for World Population (DSW) PROGRAM MANAGER (Acting) January August 2012 Ensure effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of all existing projects. Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure that projects are implemented based on the project budgets. Responsible for timely submission of high standard reports to donors and DSW headquarters. Assist partners in their project implementation and strengthen their capacity regarding programme cycle management if and when necessary. German Foundation for World Population (DSW) PROGRAM OFFICER January December 2011 Conduct project trainings, plan for trainings and facilitate training sessions on HIV / AIDs, home based care and stigma reduction for psychosocial support groups and peer educators. Maintain positive relations with government agencies, civil society, multilateral and bilateral partners in the areas of operation. Support the programme manager to link DSW program activities at the community level with national level advocacy and program development through preparing program briefs and presentations. Work closely with the DSW Country team and other DSW global staff in developing sustainable population programs and supporting growth of the organization s program portfolio and impact.

6 Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevoelkerung (DSW) PROGRAM OFFICER (Western Region) August 2007 December 2009 Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) initiative through youth friendly voluntary counseling and testing services (VCT s) and youth clubs as a component of DSW s youth to youth (Y2Y) central support services programme Work with government agencies and NGOs to plan and conduct a series of activities that will build support, knowledge, and technical expertise for HIV/AIDS programs at national, regional, district, and community levels. Liaise with finance and administration officers on issues relating to programme requests and expenses. General administration and ensure adherence to financial and recruitment procedures of the programme. Supervise two technical staff and twenty youth VCT counselors. Write technical reports and all required programme information to DSW internal users and partner organizations. Document and disseminate lessons learnt and best practices on a regular basis. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS 1. Establishment of youth empowerment centers (stand alone, integrated and clinical). 2. Establishment of a youth desk at NACC (National Aids Control Council) as a result of active youth engagement and participation. 3. Inclusion of youth indicators in KNASP III policy documents where young people were being involved at all stages of project cycle. 4. I was part of the team members who put together the Sexual Reproductive Health Manual for young people as an organizational tool for training. 5. Part of team members who designed drop in centers for most at risk populations of HIV MARPS (truck drivers and commercial sex workers) along the Northern corridor i.e. Namanga to West Pokot.
