The Somalia program wishes to invite applications from highly competent dynamic, self-driven and results oriented Somali National to fill the following vacancy. The successful candidate will be based in WV Office - Garowe, Puntland. Health Information Management Officer III - Garowe. The position holder will provide technical support to field operations and the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, in the implementation of Health and Nutrition programming, design and manage health and nutrition information and project M&E plans in alignment with the World Vision DME LEAP framework and Humanitarian accountability standards. He/she will also be responsible for leading coordination of information management activities with the WVS and the Ministry of Health (MoH) staff at the health facilities and work closely with the district health management team; organize M&E activities and assist in management of monitoring information.

2 Major Responsibilities: Design and manage the implementation of health and nutrition programme and project M&E plans in alignment with the World Vision DME LEAP framework and Humanitarian accountability standards Monthly work-plan for all districts developed with input of the Project Manager Key health and nutrition indicators are identified and monitored in line with the M&E Plan and Government main HMIS indicators Develop and manage an updated database and information management system for programme indicators and monitoring activities Accountability, Communication and Training Assessment reports compiled in the first quarter of project implementation. An appropriate CRM mechanism (i.e help desks, suggestion boxes, etc) and methodology of feedback is established Work with project teams to ensure information relating to WVS projects is shared widely within communities in which we are working and provide for their participation and feedback in line with the relevant guidelines and frameworks Facilitate the M&E meetings and share M&E guidance and deliver training and capacity building in order to ensure that monitoring activities are conducted effectively and according to agreed guidelines and procedures Work with the project staff to ensure learning is shared to facilitate planning and project design. 3 Involvement in assessments, analysis and dissemination of reports as per stakeholder guidelines Monthly and quarterly reports following agreed template is produced Baseline and mid-term evaluation reports compiled and shared by consultants, with input from Accountability,Monitoring & Evaluation Monthly narrative reports compiled and presented to all the relevant stakeholders and WV management Quarterly narrative and end of project narrative reports presented to the Project manager/officer for input into Support Office reports. Capacity development and awareness among relevant World Vision staff and key stakeholders is enhanced Training of health and nutrition staff and health facility staff on data management. Training of health and nutrition staff on M&E data utilization, reporting and analysis. promote utilization of best practices, lessons learned Information Management and Reporting Set in place data quality audit criteria to ensure that data used for analysis is of high integrity. Therefore, provide day to day verifying data quality and ensure all data is input into database platform and analyzed in an integrity manner. Collate accurate and timely top-line output data from all health related projects and feed

4 into the database. Manage and update the filling system of the projects as per the WVS records management and M&E Policy Coordinate the production of progress reports as per the reporting schedules, in collaboration with the project teams. Technical Training qualifications required: Diploma in Nursing or Clinical Medicine,

5 Powered by TCPDF ( Analysis using qualitative and/ quantitative methods Professional technical skill desired: Knowledge of the SPHERE standards, Humanitarian Accountability Partnerships (HAP); other international humanitarian standards and other capacity building skills. Experience: Minimum TWO years work experience in community based programming, local government or work with NGOs or humanitarian agencies. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), and local language. Computer literacy. Working Environment / Conditions: Work environment: Office-based with frequent travel to the field Travel: 40% travel to field and other locations is required.
