4 IMPORTANCE OF CULTURE: LINK BETWEEN CORPORATE CULTURE AND ETHICS Ethical conduct derives from organization s leadership and Core Values - embodied in how the organization operates daily. One of the long-term objectives of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines of Organizations: Reduce, Prevent Crime, Promote Good Corporate Citizenship, and Promote more Ethical Business Cultures. When the mighty fall, it is often rooted in poor business cultures which have permitted or overtly/inadvertently encouraged unethical behaviors.

10 STEP 1: SELECTION OF CULTURAL INQUIRY FRAMEWORK Appreciative Inquiry looks for WHAT WORKS in an organization. The tangible result of the inquiry process is a series of statements that describe where the organization wants to be, based on the high moments of where they have been. The statements are grounded in real experiences and history, people know how to repeat their success. Decide the focus of inquiry will be an affirmative topic Example: Tell me about your best experience at your organization. What do value you the most about that event?
