In support of Av/Maint. craft, the position acquires and maintains supplies, materials, and services to keep the airport facilities operational at all times. It maintains all levels of stocked supplies, materials and tools for the Procurement Section s direct customers. Essential Functions: Maintain an inventory system within the Maintenance Management System (Maimo) for Aviation Maintenance Crafts. Receive, store and issue supplies and materials for craft and Aviation customers. Perform warehousing functions using forklift and other material handling equipment. Assist in storage and handling of hazardous materials. Issue and maintain special shop tools. Monitor stock levels and perform physical Inventory and cycle counting of approimately 16,000 items and growing, in ecess of $2 million dollars. Input and research inventory and direct purchases, disbursements, inventory adjustments. Maintain and update Inventory records in Maimo. Locate source of supply and coordinate with vendors. Be on-call and respond to emergency situations, when necessary. Reconcile credit card (P-card programs) transactions at the end of each month. Verify all chartfields are accurate for all payments. Accurately maintain and update supporting document files. Competencies Required to Perform This Job: (including certification, skills & testing as appropriate) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and other Characteristics: Must have minimum two years working knowledge of computerized maintenance inventory management. Must have knowledge of basic warehousing equipment and supplies and general office functions. Must be organized and skilled in keeping records up to date and accessible. Must possess ecellent customer service skills. Must be able to multi-task, be fleible and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able work with a diverse group of people. Must be skilled in the use of computers and MS Windows Office software. Must have a valid Washington State driver s license. Forklift certified or able to be certified (in-house function). Must be able to learn terminology and materials related to the tools of the trade represented, e.g. Boilers, HVAC, Auto Shop, etc. Ecellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of purchasing procedures and practices. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Two years eperience in inventory management or in a warehouse environment. Must possess a valid Washington Drivers License. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds with or without assistance. Must have ecellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment. Must be proficient in the use of MS Windows Office io include Access, Ecel and Word. Licensed forklift operator for at least two years. Must have ecellent customer service skills. Must be able to operate a pallet jack and hand truck. Preferred Qualifications: Two-year degree or certification in a trade field. Eperience in materials costing and inventory flow. Worked in a warehouse or trade environment.
