2 Hello and welcome to our 2018 Wellness Journey - our path to healthier living! By adding Cigna as our new wellness partner; we have also been able to add many new tools and options into our wellness program this year. These new options will help speed you along on your journey to improved wellness. The foundation of our wellness program is supported by three important pillars Prevention, Social Health & Engagement and Learning & Coaching. Last year we focused on the first two pillars through Knowing Your Numbers (prevention) and Making Healthier Choices (engagement). Again this year Biometric screening is the first step in Prevention and Completing a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) is the first step in Social Health/Engagement. For the third pillar, Education and Coaching, you will be able to access a robust selection of learning and coaching programs to address your individual health goals. Each of the daily choices we make guide us on our journey to better health. Again this year, participating in the designated wellness activities will qualify you for a premium discount. To earn a 2019 discounted premium, and even more wellness incentives, you need to complete the targeted activities from all three Wellness categories (Prevention, Social Health and Learning). Please take a few minutes to review this guide to understand how the discount and incentives are earned. And while discounts and gift cards are nice - we really hope that by engaging in these activities, you will earn more than an incentive you will be rewarded with wellness. 3 2018 Wellness Pillars In 2018 every employee needs to complete a coaching session along with your Biometrics and HRA to qualify for a Premium Discount in Tobacco users need to complete tobacco cessation coaching; non-users can select from the many options as outlined on page 6. Also, if your spouse is enrolled in our medical program - they can also participate and earn incentive awards. Please continue reading for more information. Preventive exams are designed to identify potential health problems in the early stages when they are easier to treat. 4 Preventive Health Our 1 st pillar is PREVENTION. Preventive care is about finding problems before they become an issue. To qualify for a Premium Discount in 2019, complete Step 1 under Prevention - a Biometric screening. To see more Preventive options - log onto the Cigna Wellness Portal, and look for the initials PREV. To qualify for a Premium Discount in 2019, follow Step 2 under Engagement by completing your Health Risk Assessment. Everyone needs to complete a coaching or learning session to qualify for a premium discount in Tobacco Users must complete one cessation program marked with icon. 8 We want to make this easy for you to accomplish so we have put together a few shortcuts and FAQ s that might help you on your way. How do I update my activities? If you are enrolled in the Harsco medical plans, your processed medical claim will feed directly into the Cigna wellness platform. For those employees not enrolled and for activities not covered by medical (i.e. your dental visit) you will need to log in at and enter the information. Please note: if you complete your biometrics late in the year you may need to provide documentation to HR if the claim has not yet processed. You will log in at to register. Follow the prompts and enter your details. You can download the MyCigna App and access the Health Risk Assessment as well as your ID cards and claims information. How are wellness gift cards taxed? After the card is issued, Harsco Payroll will record the value of the gift card on your paycheck and will pay the associated tax. As a result the gift card earnings will be higher than the actual value to account for the taxes on the gift card. How much will I pay for a preventive exam with my doctor? Your annual preventive exams are covered at 100%, meaning there should be no cost to you. Just be sure to schedule your appointment as a preventive exam. When your doctor orders your biometric tests, make sure that the factors being tested fall under the preventive guidelines. If during your visit you discuss existing conditions, have the doctor make adjustments to medications, or order other tests; the visit may be processed as a diagnostic claim. If you are told you have a payment due for your annual physical, reach out to the Cigna One Guide. They will work with your doctor to assure a preventive visit is processed correctly and help resolve any billing concerns.
