2 4/13/18 JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Testing Assessment/Marketing Assistant SALARY LEVEL: MDSEA - Support Salary Schedule B-T DEPARTMENT: REPORTS TO: FLSA Status: Instructional Team/Marketing Instructional Team and Marketing Coordinator Non-Exempt SUMMARY: Responsible for continuing education as it applies to the coordination, operation, testing station set up, testing updates, computer maintenance, scheduling, implementation and reporting of student and adult assessments including, but not limited to: ACT WorkKeys Curriculum, ACT WorkKeys Assessments, ODCTE Competency Assessments, CTSO on-line testing, PLTW, Health Careers National Assessments, Adult KeyTrain, Adult TABE, ParaPro-Mid-Del, ParaPro-Public, Oklahoma School Testing Program and other assessments as needed. Works with the Marketing Coordinator for the successful implementation of the strategic marketing plan. The marketing strategies include all platforms, social media, digital, public relations, and social events. Internet research, analysis of current strategies and staying current with new marketing trends/strategies. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Interest in the marketing field and technical proficiency in social media know-how is a must. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and marketing analytics. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and produce effective first class marketing material. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and the general public.

3 MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and algebra. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintains records and reports as required by the district and state within identified time frame. 2. Responsible for the coordination of described competency tests. 3. Coordinate Mid-Del Technology Center s assessment activities with instructors and students. 4. Gathering, researching and analyzing existing marketing data and staying current on effective marketing strategies.

4 5. Assist the marketing coordinator with marketing activities including presenting information to groups of clients, support for marketing events and exhibits. 6. Assist in maintaining all social media platforms utilized by the marketing and student services department. 7. Strong organizational and customer service skills, a must. 8. Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe PhotoShop. 9. Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as web content (HTML coding helpful), brochures and press releases. 10. Help design and place advertisements. 11. Must have technical know-how with social media platforms. 12. All other duties assigned by administrators.
