1 Certificate Program Outline This is an outline for the 40 hour Employee Engagement Specialist Certificate Program. The program is made up of ten 4-hour sessions delivered monthly. Each session will include pre-work and assignments and participants will be provided tools for creating an engaged culture in their organization. Additionally there will be 8 10 follow-up conference calls or webinars between each monthly session to review and support. Define engagement and how it might be defined at Discussion of how to measure engagement and track progress Business case for engagement (benefits of an engaged culture) How engagement impacts sustainability Selling engagement to leadership Identifying who will drive engagement initiatives (it starts at the top) Business Cases for Engagement Discussing engagement with senior leaders checklist Tie engagement to Discuss your engagement thoughts with at least one decision maker Identify surveys that have been conducted (bring sample of survey and results if possible) Document what changed as a result of the survey; what didn t change Make a list of the reasons you think employees work at your company List what you think is important to potential employees.
