6 Ntionl President's Messge Der Friends, An eventful yer hs gone by so swiftly since the time you hve vested the new ledership tem with the responsibility of sustining the collective journey. On our behlf, I hd defined tht our wy forwrd would be built on the pillrs of governnce, enggement nd network. The focus ws to endevor to hrbinger chnge on one hnd, while giving strong execution edge t the grss root level to enble institution building nd enhncing equity of our Network, on the other. Another yer hs been dded to the rich nnls of NHRDN's history, which hs completed two nd hlf decdes. In line with our commitment of reching out to ll members nd enhncing trnsprency, we hve worked towrds cpturing our wy of life in report tht serves both s yer in review nd brief compendium of wht our Network represents. This Annul Report is n ttempt to cpture the ethos of the Network nd the vrious ctivities undertken over the pst yer in furthernce of the overll mission nd gend. As Network we hve grown both my membership nd even more so in our overll rnge of inititives tht hve clerly focused on spreding the HRD movement in the country. We hve beckoned chnge with the spirit to renew nd refresh nd lend contemporry relevnce to our Network. When the new tem took over under the ledership of NS Rjn - we took on ourselves the gol of crrying on the rich legcy nd bringing the new genertion of HR professionls into the sme fold. The context ws eqully chllenging for the following resons: - New expecttions - Absence of full-fledged secretrit - Low utomtion (in terms of member dtbse etc.) On the wy we lost some HR Luminries, torch berers nd Gurus including Dr. Udi Preekh which ws big shock for the frternity. We lwys lened on them for counsel nd guidnce. Their work, their thoughts nd their teching will continue to guide our work nd inspire us. We slute them for their contribution. We leverged the continuing volunteer spirit mongst the members nd office berers. This spirit enbled us to build n exciting rodmp focused on 'execution' s theme nd creted frmework G-E-N (governnce-enggement-network) which gve us n edge. We decided tht every vehicle of NHRDN will hve the following nchors nd hllmrks: - Self - sustining - Sclble - Predictble - Vlue to members nd in line with our mission I m very hppy to report tht over the lst yer, we hve been ble to crete new benchmrks for the ntionl body in terms of our finncil performnce with highest ever revenues, web portl s one stop shop for HR professionls, Lerning centers s mechnism to shre the knowledge in workshop mode, HR Compss for building the next level of competencies in HR Professionls nd much more. You will red more in greter detil in the report. We could chieve ll this due to the unconditionl support extended by senior members of the HR community nd the executive bord members. While I sign off, I would like to thnk L. Prbhkr, our bord member for extending gret support in bringing out the nnul report. I lso would like to plce on record nd thnk the tem which mde ll this possible: Our 'Executive Director - Mohit Gndhi' nd his tem Anirudh (lerning Center), Ankur (HR Tlks Web inititive), Jsmine (HR Compss), Sunil (Membership Cell) nd Myn (Administrtion) deserves specil mention for delivering very high stndrds.
