We need to be developing change agents We have a shared plan for a better world. But we simply won t achieve it through business-as-usual thinking and acting.! We need to reach a critical mass of change agents to catalyse a triple transformation at scale and pace. 1. Personal Transformation 2. Organisational Transformation 3. Systems Transformation Educators have a vital role to play in this.

1. Personal Transformation Business, government and civil society need a critical mass of people who care enough about balancing people, planet and prosperity in order to act. People with emotional connectedness to the issues, empathy for stakeholders perspectives, deep listening, collaboration and partnering skills and solutions-orientation are at the heart of this transformation

2. Organisational Transformation Business, government and civil society organisations all need to get better and faster at identifying and exploiting $12 trillion opportunities created by SDGs, by being more entrepreneurial and innovative. People able to recognise opportunity, respond creatively, take calculated risk, secure resources and get things done are at the heart of this transformation

3. Systems Transformation Achieving the SDGs needs business, government and civil society to work together like never before on solving shared problems People that are systems thinkers and able to span boundaries, build trust, then creatively innovate and get things done together are at the heart of this transformation

Business Education Response? 1. Gender equality

Gender Equality Worldwide, enrolment on non-mba business programmes is gender balanced.! However, MBA programmes lag behind at 36% female and this has plateau-ed in recent years. (Source: AACSB) This will be critical to addressing C-suite gender balance in the future. Gender equality alone is a $12 trillion opportunity globally. Challenge is partly about offering flexibility, but also content more appealing to women. Sustainable MBAs typically have >50% female.
