Perform all work in accordance with local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations and in compliance with all departmental safety policies and procedures. This includes using appropriate safety devices and equipment. May be required in emergency situations to report to work during unscheduled time. To the extent of ability, use a variety of hand tools, such as drills, wrenches, shovels, etc., and power tools, such as, chain saws. Will assist water operator with help on emergency maintenance issues. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma Required Prefer experience Prefer at least level 1 Operator License or be willing to obtain the License within one year of employment. Must possess a valid Louisiana State driver's license. Physical strength and ability sufficient to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods under wet, cold, and generally unpleasant conditions. Ability to wear all required safety and protective gear and equipment. Basic knowledge and ability to read equipment instruction and maintenance manuals, Ability to make rapid and sound decisions in the event of extraordinary situations such as equipment malfunctions or power outages to protect public health and equipment. Frequently required to exercise this judgment while unsupervised. Must be able to pass drug screening. Other Details: The nature of this position requires this person to be subject to call 24 hours per day on a rotating basis including weekends and holidays. Depending on the task being performed, the environment may be wet, muddy, dark, cold or hot, conditions. Much of the work is performed outside in all kinds of weather conditions. 7 For Sale We would like to run an ad for the sale of the attached pump motor. To follow are the specifics: 1. Sale amount $2, Item: Used Crown Triton Electric Motor & Pump 3. This electric motor was put into service 11/19/2015 and cost $4,185 new. The pump failed and needed a full rebuild. We decided to purchase a vertical motor and pump rather than rebuilding the pump. The old pump will go with the motor at no charge and may be rebuilt or used for parts. Specifications for the Crown Triton electric motor are on the picture of the data plate. 4.
