1 VACANCY-ANNOUNCEMENT Job Announcement Number: PLEASE READ ENTIRE ANNOUNCEMENT Open date: 29 January 2019 Close date: 05 February The Incirlik Civilian Personnel Section is accepting applications from Turkish National employees for the following position: a. Title, Series and Grade: Recreation Assistant CT (Appropriated Funds-Fulltime, Permanent) Total of 1 (one) positions b. Organizations and Locations: 39 FSS Community Center, Incirlik-Turkey. The qualified person will work under general supervision of the 39 FSS Commander or her/his designated authority. Responsibilities - Coordinate itineraries to include but not limited to; location and date/s of scheduled performances, autograph sessions, commander s office calls and local cultural tours. - Assure entertainment agencies provide travel orders, passports, and other documents in timely manner. - Submit required paperwork for county clearance and base access through base agencies to include Turkish Air Force and base protocol office. - Prepare and submit tour requests to AFE, USO and other DOD entertainment entities. - Make all billeting arrangements at the host location for entertainers, management and support crew. - Coordinate publicity material, photographs, news releases and posters. - Complete all requirements for venue set-up. - Serve as a host nation interpreter for all base wide events Conditions of Employment Applicant must be a Turkish Citizen Application materials must be received by 24:00 p.m. (Local Time) on the closing date. Work Schedule: Full Time Tour of Duty: Irregular Schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Position Sensitivity: Non-Critical Sensitive Security Requirements: Not Applicable Overtime: Occasionally Physical Requirement: Requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and handling of products weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted; occasionally more than 40 pounds with assistance.

2 Qualifications To qualify for this position, by the closing date of this announcement, you must possess one of the following: (a) Successful completion of High School Education with Six Months of specialized experience equivalent to the grade level that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To be creditable, specialized experience must be at the same or similar grade level or equivalent under other pay systems with United States Forces (USF) or private sector. Creditable specialized experience includes: youth activities, sports, or club management, OR (b) Successful completion of education ABOVE High School level (2-year College or 4-year University graduates) in the field of Arts, Sociology, History, Education, Physical Education, Public Affairs, Public Relations or related studies that may be substituted for experience directly related to the work of the position being filled OR (c) A combination of experience and education equaling 100% of the qualifications. In addition to meeting the qualifications outlined above, you must also meet the following by the closing date of this announcement: (a) Male applicants must have completed all Turkish Military obligations. Achieve proper score on English Proficiency Test, ability use various office automation software and must be able to complete a background checks. Must be willing to provide fingerprints as necessary and prove fitness for duty through medical documentation. Education If you are relying on education to qualify, then: 1.
