2 Journey Problem Statement from Efficiency to Experience Objectives Client organization is a restaurant search and discovery service operating in 23 countries The organization was facing challenges in adhering to Compliances and had to incur penalties Based on PeopleStrong s functional expertise, strategic acumen and commitment to success, client partnered with us to manage their Compliances The company, an Indian restaurant search and discovery service founded in 2008, currently operates in 23 countries including India, Australia and United States. It features restaurant information such as scanned menus and photos sourced by local street teams, as well as user reviews and ratings. The company also provides cashless payment, online ordering, white-label apps, table reservation, and point-of-sale systems. The company was facing following challenges with their current compliance system; which was outsourced to a vendor: 1. The company had to incur penalties due to some non compliances as the Labor welfare fund was not submitted for the last 3 years 2. The Shops and Establishment licenses for few locations were not obtained even after 2 years of commencement 3. There was a delay in filing of returns except for Minimum Wages and Payment of Wages. Based on PeopleStrong s functional expertise, strategic acumen and commitment to success, client partnered with us to manage the following Compliances: Shop & Establishment Act Contract Labour (R&A) Act, 1970 Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 Labour Welfare Fund Employment Exchange Act Minimum Wages Act, 1948 Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 Employee Compensation Act Equal Remuneration Act

3 HR Transformation - The PeopleStrong Way PeopleStrong s Transition and Solutioning team, through its in-depth study analyzed the performance gap between desired and existing processes. PeopleStrong followed a 4 stage approach of : As-is analysis, Designing the To-be processes based on Gaps and best practices, forming a formal governance Structure, followed by Go-Live. PeopleStrong Compliance SPOC visited the client Head Office situated in Gurgaon for the first week to gain an understanding of the Compliance processes and status. Over 70% increase in compliance percentage 4. Legacy issue handling and closure 5. Night Exemption Registration: This registration which was pending from a long time was obtained successfully
