On this basis we tackle our customers tasks. Together with you we work out individual solutions for intralogistics and conveyor technology for the corrugated paper and solid wood industry as well as for conveying and intralogistic systems for piece goods. We are a family-owned and medium-sized company. Values such as respect, fairness and solidarity are not just empty words for us but we have practiced them for more than 40 years. This not only applies to the relationship with our customers but also to the cooperation in-house. One reason for our employees high level of expertise and motivation is their long seniority which is accompanied by permanent advanced training and education, which is also a benefit for our customers. MINDA stands for quality and a high level of product automation. Our in-house developed and certified quality management system is only one example. Apart from the headquarters in Minden three other companies belong to the MINDA group. The flexible utilization of capacities is one of the synergy effects of this combination. To secure our own high quality standards, we place great emphasis on apprenticeship and advanced training and the success of our junior staff proves us right. 3 04 HISTORY AND SITES 05 FROM THE VERY BEGINNING ON THE COURSE OF EXPANSION April 1979: Foundation of MINDA Industrieanlagen GmbH. The graduated mechanical engineer Eberhard Falch took over the steel construction and plant engineering division of Messrs. Karl Schwarze & Sohn KG via a management-buy-out. The company moved to the Hans-Böckler-Strasse. New office buildings and production halls were built here between 1983 and From the very beginning MINDA has concentrated on in-house transport solutions, on automation and interlinking of individual machines with complete production lines and overall solutions. The company is certified according to DIN EN ISO It is our target to extend this quality standard continuously. In 2005 his son Robert Falch joined the company and manages it in second generation. 7 12 AUTOMATION 13 WE OPTIMIZE YOUR PROCESSES Linking, improving, optimizing: We take care that everything runs smoothly in your plant. The keyword is MINDA MoveIT. A modern, efficient visualization and control technology is decisive for all production steps of an automatic plant. This applies to all of our intralogistic systems and is not industry-specific. Our optimally adapted software solutions form an integral part of our complex control process. The heart and at the same time the basis is MINDA MoveIT: our control and visualization system for intralogistics on a modern platform programmed by MINDA. A fully automatic workflow of all transport areas is thus ensured likewise resulting in an optimization of all processes. Moreover, a visuali- zation of the processes allows the customer to keep track of the whole production sequence and of all production data. Products or components can be identified at any time during the whole production process. To make sure that your installation contributes to your company s success for many years, we support you with a wide range of services. If you decide to conclude a service contract with us, our experts reliably take care of the inspection and maintenance of your installation after commissioning. Moreover, we carry out regular inspections of the security functions of the transfer cars. Bus tests and remote maintenance represent further service jobs we offer. This time- and cost-efficient support of control technology via VPN access is daily practice for us. Are software adaptations or optimizations on your installations required? We would be happy to care for them, too. Moreover, our staff trains your employees in operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrotechnical components. Software trainings for PLC and MCS are further elements of our service range. We are also your contact partner for the revision of existing lines. It is our pleasure to advise you which investments might be reasonable and efficient, particularly taking into account preventive maintenance. Furthermore, we still deal with the goals of predictive maintenance thus achieving a higher productivity of your installations. Do you intend to relocate a part of your plant and is it therefore necessary to dismantle your line? We look after the disassembly, the installation and commissioning at the new location.

Under the roof of the MINDA academy we provide our junior staff versatile future prospects, combining apprenticeship, studies, advanced training and qualification. We offer young people an apprenticeship in different technical and commercial professions. REAL PERSPECTIVES FOR YOUNG STAFF Furthermore, for many years we have counted on practice-oriented studies in the sectors electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer sciences, amongst others in close cooperation with the Campus Minden of the Advanced Technical College Bielefeld. The alliance of university studies and a practice-oriented training on the doorstep is not only a big advantage for our company. Even the students have got the opportunity to discover their own strengths during their studies and to work in a suitable position after a successful university degree as an engineer; without requiring a long training period. We give our employees the chance to use attractive offers for a permanent job-related and personal advanced education. Therefore, they could either follow up a second apprenticeship or attend a master or technical school. Last but not least, we offer advanced trainings at regular intervals. This comprises training courses for welding, an improved knowledge of PLC & high-level languages, Microsoft Office training courses, language courses & practical workshops.
