1 DIRECTOR, FAMILIES IN TRANSITION Reports To: Director of Operations Agape is seeking a Director, Families in Transition to lead all relevant matters for Families in Transition (FIT) program and other related program expansions. As the FIT Director, this candidate must have extensive leadership experience and will be a part of the Leadership Team. The responsibilities of this role are extensive and require exceptional attention to detail and candidate must be a critical thinker. This candidate will work in partnership with key community leaders and supporters. The Director, Families in Transition must dedicate time to development/fundraising. As the Director, Families in Transition, this candidate must ensure program quality, agency meeting its strategic plan through stated goals and objectives of programs; and development of direct reports. Candidate must be willing to engage in Agape s Performance Quality and Improvement Social Work or other related field with at least two years of experience in working with children and families with multiple problems and needs, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position. 2 FAMILIES IN TRANSITION CONNECTOR SUPERVISOR Reports To: Director, Families in Transition Agape is seeking a Families in Transition (FIT) Connector Supervisor for our Families in Transition (FIT) program. The FIT Connector Supervisor will lead and supervise the Connectors. They must ensure that Connectors are meeting the needs of families in a culturally sensitive manner. As the FIT Connector Supervisor, the candidate must be able to focus on family strengths and recognize the family case-management relationship as primary and essential. Additionally, they should demonstrate an ability to work with a wide range of people, knowledge of social services delivery systems, and knowledge of resources, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, proven ability as a problem solver and self-starter, excellent computer skills, and demonstrated user orientation, good organizational, time management skills. The Connector Supervisor should ensure program quality, transparency, and accurate reporting. Social Work or other related field with at least three years of experience. Will be required to work a flexible schedule; possibly be available evenings and weekends. Candidate must be willing to engage in Agape s Performance Quality and Improvement

3 SCHOOL-BASED CONNECTOR SUPERVISOR Reports To: Site Coordinator (Hickory Hill) -Anticipated Vacancy Agape is seeking a School-Based Connector Supervisor to supervise, lead and monitor Connectors in the Hickory Hill area. They must ensure that Connectors are meeting the needs of families in a culturally sensitive manner. Connector Supervisors should have supervisory experience leading teams and must be able to focus on family strengths and recognize the family casemanagement relationship as primary and essential. Additionally, they should demonstrate an ability to work with a wide range of people, knowledge of social services delivery systems, and knowledge of resources, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, proven ability as a problem solver and selfstarter, excellent computer skills, and demonstrated user orientation, good organizational, time management skills. 4 SCHOOL-BASED CONNECTOR Reports To: Site Coordinator (Hickory Hill) -Anticipated Vacancy Agape is seeking applicants for School-Based Connector positions to effectively provide grassroots outreach and engagement of the youth and facilitate connection with them to the high quality services needed to succeed. The goal of the School-Based Connector position is to be embedded in a selected site/neighborhood in Memphis with the hope of connecting with families, and assisting by linking them to resources, that they desire and need. They are responsible for ensuring the health and welfare of children and families served, which includes seeing that needs are being appropriately addressed, i.e., medical, health, spiritual, emotional, social, employment, educational/training, etc. Master s Degree in Social Work preferred or other related social services fields acceptable. Candidate must be culturally sensitive with a passion for helping others. Must be computer literate. Must have a valid driver license and own a vehicle with proof of auto insurance. Candidate must be willing to engage in Agape s Performance Quality and Improvement standards of quality & excellence.

5 VOLUNTEER SERVICES SPECIALIST Reports To: Volunteer Coordinator Agape is seeking a Volunteer Services Specialist for our Volunteer & Recruitment program. The Volunteer Services Specialist provides on-going support to Volunteer Coordinator by managing volunteer services activities related to the implementation and on-going support of the new department needs; assist in designing retention strategies for volunteers, participate and assist with efforts in the development of new and assessment of current policies and procedures for recruitment, retention of volunteers for the agency. The Volunteer Services Specialist will work closely with Volunteer Coordinator and with all members of the Leadership Team and others within the agency to ensure that his/her responsibilities are effectively and consistently discharged. Additionally, the Volunteer Services Specialist must be highly organized, excellent public speaking and presentation skills, and ability to network. Bachelor s degree in business, personnel management or related field. Candidate must demonstrate leadership and management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
