14 Paragraph #1: To improve the quality of hospice and palliative care, AAHPM models inclusion and embraces diverse backgrounds and perspectives of those with whom we work and the patients and families we serve.

24 Paragraph #1: It is the aim of the Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association (HCSA) to recognize and encourage the valuable and enriching contribution that people from all backgrounds and experiences bring to the HCSA. We believe that all individuals should be treated on the basis of merit and without prejudice.
