It builds on the foundation laid in the Accounting Software module. This module also covers a manual and computerised payroll system. Sage Micropay Professional is the payroll system used in this module to setup, process and manage a payroll system on a weekly or monthly basis. Learning Outcomes On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to: LO1 LO2 LO3 LO4 LO5 Use Sage 50 Accounts Professional to manage products and perform Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing, and associated transactions. Prepare Bank Reconciliations, VAT returns, End of month and End of year reports using Sage 50 Accounts Professional. Record weekly and monthly payroll using Sage Micropay Professional. Prepare manual payroll tax deduction cards and computerised payroll reports Describe how the PAYE and PRSI Systems operate from an employers perspective.
