TENDER DOCUMENT TENDER:- Repair of CNC Machine at DITE Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) Sealed Tenders under single bid system are invited on behalf of the Director cum principal, Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DITE), Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II, Delhi from Eligible/Competent Agencies for providing Repair of CNC Machines Milling, at Okhla campus of Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DITE) as per the terms & Conditions laid in this tender. 1. Self attested copy of Registration of Service Tax/VAT/TIN. d. Self attested copies of experience certificate needs to be attached. The contractor s firm Must have at least three years of experience in machine repairing in a machine shop e. Self attested copies of Annexure 1, 2, 3 & 4 duly filled and signed. f. Price bid (Annexure-4) to be dully filled strictly on the format only and signed. g. Terms & Conditions: 4.1 The contract shall be awarded for repair of CNC Machines as per the terms & condition of tender document. 4.2 It may be noted that the lowest quoted rates of a bidder do not entitle him to claim the said Contract. 4.3 The final decision shall be taken after scrutiny & acceptance of technical parameters offered for Undertaking to repair the CNC machines & make them working with one year warranty up to the extend / amount of repair work carried out by the bidder. 4.4 Tender document must not be altered /edited modified. Cutting/overwriting should be attested. 4.5 The bidder may asses the scope of work prior to biding by visiting the institute on any working days between 10am & 3pm. 4.6 Bid security: The bidder shall deposit EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) for an amount of Rs.3800/- in the Form of DD from a commercial bank in favor of Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering, payable at Delhi in the office Of Director Cum Principal, Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering, Okhla Industrial area, Delhi. The bidder having valid EMD exemption certificate for the service required in this tender shall be exempted from Submitting EMD but only with due approval by Competent Authority of DITE. To support this, the self-attested copy of such exemption certificate is to be submitted. Page 2 of 9

3 4.7 The price quoted should be inclusive of all charges & applicable taxes/vat/service tax/govt. levies etc. All applicable Govt. deductions like ESI, TDS etc. shall be applied at prevailing rates, if applied. 4.8 Conditional bids/bids without original EMD will be summarily rejected without assigning any reason. Extra document other than the Documents asked for should not be submitted. 4.9 Performance security: Bid security of the successful bidder shall be returned only after furnishing Security Deposit of 10% of the order value & shall be refundable after the expiry of all contractual obligations including warranty period and no Interest shall be payable on it. This may be adjusted in case of any dues/damages are reported during the tenure of contract period The warranty of the parts & work performance should be for one year for which the performance Security shall be kept. In case of new parts warranty provided by the manufacturer should be submitted wherever applicable In case of any dispute arising out this tender; it will be settled within jurisdiction of Delhi Bid security shall be forfeited if the renderer withdraws his bid during the period of tender validity The validity of bid and EMD should be 120 days and 135 days from the last date of submission of tender respectively The committee nominated by Director-Cum-Principal or its Authorized Representative shall inspect the Work done at any time during the contract The contractor shall be required to maintain the safety precautions & shall be held responsible for any Accident/un-toward incident in his working area till such time the machines are not handed over to DITE. DITE shall in no case be responsible for any accident; Loss or Damage to the persons employed Or Articles Equipments furniture etc., used by the Contractor The contractor will not use any child labor or violate any statutory Rules Acts The use of electrical points of DITE subject to the approval of DITE Bid opening and Evaluation of the bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives in the office of Dean (Academics), Okhla Industrial Area, Delhi by authorized committee The bid of any bidder who has not compiled with one or more of the conditions will be liable be summarily rejected by institute without assigning any reason Right to Accept or Reject:-- The institute reserve the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason Successful Bidder:-Successful bidder will have to undergo written agreement/contract before starting the Execution of work. Following Machines are to be repaired and made working to the satisfaction of DITE. i) MCM CNC Machining Center 01 No ii) Rambaudi CNC Copy Milling Machine 01 No. Scope of Work:- 1. The work includes repair of all mechanical, hydraulic & electrical faults. 2. All old parts should be deposited in stores, DITE. 3. All in-coming / out-going parts should have security gate entry in challan/gate pass. Note: The bidder may assess the scope of work prior to bidding by visiting the Institute on any working day between 10 A.M. & 4.00 P.M. & fill the following format regarding scope of work in addition to above. 8 Annexure-5 Minimum Scope of Work (Not to be submitted) Name of work: Repair of CNC Machines at Okhla campus of DITE Scope Of Work Of MCM Machining Center (CNC Machine No. 1) 1. Repair of existing CNC control FANUC OM 2. To make operational X, Y, Z & B axis. 3. To bypass referencing of tilt axis (tool magazine) & carrousel rotation through PLC or in the logic of control. 4. All the following modes to be made operational, a)mdi b)jog c)edit d)auto e)incremental Jog f)home g)mpg 5. To ensure supply of coolant 6. To replace all the filters of panel AC 7. To fix all the panels available, with screws/fasteners 8. To ensure tool clamping & unclamping by the spindle (manually) 9. All the general functions, movement of axis, referencing, execution of part programs in Auto mode (single & continuous) & MDI mode to be made operational. 10. Make operational all the fixed cycles & other canned cycles as per FANUC OM. 11. Make operational custom Macro A & custom Macro B as per control available. 12. Servicing of spindle cooling unit 13. Servicing of coolant tank & motor. 14. De rusting of machine. 15. Servicing of lubricating system 16. Make functional all the keys of machine control panel 17. Replace keypad of FANUC OM CNC control 18. Servicing of automatic servo voltage regulator attached with machine. 19. During repairing of above stated faults, if other faults discovered the same to be corrected by the party to make the machine functional. 20. Compulsory AMC for three years which may be extended to five years on mutual consent. Scope Of Work Of RAMBAUDI Copy Milling (CNC Machine No.2) 1. Repair of Switch On/Off function of the machine through hardware or software or both. 2. Repair of existing CNC control FAGOR 8055M (with scanning function). 3. Servicing & repair of Feedback system. 4. To make operational X, Y & Z axis. 5. All the following modes to be made operational, a)mdi b)jog c)edit d)auto e)incremental Jog f)home g)mpg 6. To ensure supply of coolant 7. To replace all the filters of panel/mcu 8. To fix all the panels available, with screws/fasteners Page 8 of 9

9 9. To ensure tool clamping & unclamping by the spindle (manually) 10. All the general functions, movement of axis, referencing, execution of part programs in Auto mode (single & continuous block) & MDI mode to be made operational as per FAGOR 8055M. 11. Make operational all the fixed cycles & other canned cycles as per FAGOR 8055M. 12. Make functional parametric programming as per FAGOR 8055M. 13. Servicing of spindle cooling unit 14. Servicing of coolant tank & motor 15. De rusting of machine. 16. Servicing of lubricating system. 17. Servicing of automatic servo voltage regulator attached with machine. 18. During repairing of above stated faults, if other faults discovered the same to be corrected by the party to make the machine functional. 19.
