Develp and manage cntinuus imprvement practices, plicies and framewrks that infrm the enhancement f prject management functins within the ADF. Wrk cllabratively with key stakehlders and users t initiative, facilitate and manage the cncept explratin phase, including a deep understanding and analysis f user needs and best practice benchmarking. Manage key stakehlder management n all aspects f assigned prjects and present the key requirements and deliverables in a lgical manner. Represent and make decisins n behalf f the Natinal Prgram Manager, New Strategic Prgrams at key leadership meetings. Prject Management Ability t create and manage: prject plans; implementatin plans, stakehlder registers, prject schedules, mechanisms fr cntinuus imprvement, risks and issues registers, ensuring: Prject Executin Resurce requirements and key deliverables are agreed t (and visible thrugh tracking); A cllabrative apprach frm prject initiatin thrugh t implementatin, including cnsultatin with end users, and internal and external stakehlders; Clear cmmunicatin and tracking f prgram timing, deliverables and requirements; and Reprting mechanisms are established t mnitr prgress against key deliverables. Manage cllabrative crss discipline meetings where necessary, including: 2

3 Representatin f agreed psitin, reprt feedback and implement agreed plans; Ensuring cllabratin with functinal experts and end users when required; Supprting and cmmunicating decisins t the Natinal Prgram Manager, New Strategic Prgrams and relevant Managers t ensure they are cmpleted; Presentatin f ptins and recmmended actins t cre team members; Management f bth internal and external stakehlders. Ensure cmmunicatins and understanding f prjects are rbust; and manage reviews/meetings arund issue explratin and reslutin. Identify functinal issues impacting the ADF and manage slutins befre deliverables are affected. Develp and manage actin plans t reslve radblcks r elevate cncerns. Ensure clsure f prjects have been carried ut seamlessly and transitined t the crrect business unit. Cmplete and archive all dcumentatin, including spnsr sign-ff Training and lessns learned packages are shared with the relevant business unit/s Be respnsible fr infrmatin management including dcument cntrl and the strage f dcuments in alignment with ADF plicy and prcedures. Manage a budget in line with the relevant prject. Leadership and Peple Management Prvide leadership, mentring and supervisin fr direct reprts building cllabrative relatinships and ensuring that staff are apprpriately supprted s that they remain mtivated, high perfrming teams. Practively rle mdel behaviurs that supprt the ADF s values and gals. As required, lead the recruitment, selectin, develpment and perfrmance management f a multi-disciplinary team and prvide leadership and develpment pprtunities that builds capacity. Capability Prfile Frmal Educatin Tertiary qualificatins in health prmtin, cmmunity develpment (r ther relevant field) with a minimum f 3 years relevant prfessinal experience in a like field. Pst-graduate study wuld be highly valued. Skills and Knwledge Demnstrated skills in prject management. Demnstrated experience in health prmtin r cmmunity develpment prject delivery. Demnstrated experience in stakehlder cnsultatin. Highly develped planning and rganising skills. Strng cmmunicatin skills, including highly develped written skills. Extensive experience f wrking in a cllabrative and effective way with thers t achieve cmmn gals. Ability t establish credibility with a diverse range f stakehlders. Experience in deplying cllabrative prcesses and tls. Desirable 3
