2 Our Speaker Justin M. Whitman Executive, HR Business Partner Supply Chain Division GE Aviation Justin works within the HR function at GE supporting the GE Aviation Supply Chain Division as a Value Stream Sr. Human Resources Business Partner. Justin currently supports 4,000 employees and 12 manufacturing facilities with global presence in the US, Poland, Romania and France. Justin is based out of the GE Aviation Lynn, MA facility, just north of downtown Boston. Prior to his current role, Justin worked within the Aviation Engineering Division as a Human Resources Manager. Justin has worked closely on a variety of organizational and talent development activities for GE Aviation and he has provided leadership for the HR Leadership Program, HR recruitment and development strategy, and talent management processes and tools for the business. Justin is a graduate of GE s Experienced Human Resource Development Program. Your mission statement is what you do to accomplish your purpose, and what difference you make, what change will happen. Your mission is what drives you every day to fulfill your purpose. It's a direct path between your purpose and vision. Mission is doing what really matters and eliminating the distractions. Vision is what you aspire to. Your vision statement is where you will be in the distant future, the results you want to achieve, or the measurable impact you want to make. Vision aligns leaders and followers. 24 Lynn Community Health Center Strategy Planning Process Vision 2020 Current Strategic Plan Future Vision/ Areas of Focus Gaps/Action Plan LCHC Vision 2020 Vision 2020 idea grew out of partnership and involvement with the Center Director, created Strategic Planning Committee and received support from the Board of Directors Strategic plan and culture for the future funding, talent, Center growth, change management Shared ideas and process suggestions to work with key stakeholders employees, community, benchmarking, what it means to be the best Community Health Center? would Transform the Mission into a Purpose why the Center exists, why employees want to work there, why those in need would come to the Center guiding light. Working in 2015, with deployment of plan in 2016 roadmap for 4 years to adjust to community demographics & needs, medical technology and funding for non-profits Next session in Feb. 2015, outcome is an evolved strategic plan, Board support and employee alignment building the Center for the future. 24 LCHC Vision 2020 Planning
