Catholic Ethos 1.1 To ensure that the PCCP is an institution wherein the Gospel values and the Catholic faith are at the heart of everything and permeate every facet of its work. 1.2 To sustain and develop the Catholic ethos and distinctive Catholic nature of the PCCP 1.3 To ensure that the PCCP is at all times conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Diocesan Trust Deed 1.4 To ensure that religious education across the PCCP is in accordance with the teachings, doctrines, discipline and general and particular norms of the Catholic Church 1.5 To ensure that religious worship across the PCCP is in accordance with the rites, practices, discipline and liturgical norms of the Catholic Church: 1.6 To sustain and develop the Catholic ethos and distinctive Catholic nature of the individual Academy school 1.7 To ensure that the individual Academy school is at all times conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Diocesan Trust Deed 1.8 To ensure that religious education within the individual Academy school is in accordance with the teachings, doctrines, discipline and general and particular norms of the Catholic Church 1.9 To ensure that religious worship within the individual Academy school is in accordance with the rites, practices, discipline and liturgical norms of the Catholic Church: 2. Behaviour 15.1 To formulate and set out expected standards of behaviour in the Governors Statement of Behaviour 15.2 Development of a written behaviour policy which promotes good behaviour among students and defines the sanctions to be adopted where students misbehave Implementation of behaviour policy and establishment of academy behaviour procedures To exclude a pupil for one or more fixed terms (not exceeding 45 days in total in a year), or permanently 15.5 To review the use of exclusion and to decide whether or not to confirm all permanent exclusions and fixed term exclusions where the pupil is either excluded for more than 15 days in total in a term or would lose the opportunity to sit a public examination.
